    of course you don't have to be from the very east to be a fascist team. they still have a strong fascist/* element as far as I know.

    they have played a swiss club (FC Basel) recently and will play FC Zürich in the uefa cup soon, so came that HSV are known as HIV over here in switzerland due bad experiences when Basel played there.

    @Slask

    sorry, I have no clue about beitar but I believe you

    I also hope FCZ can do it, but I really doubt it.

    I don't really support a team in germany, but I have a soft spot for Borussia Dortmund (because of Ottmar Hitzfeld, Stephane Chapuisat and Paul Lambert era. Nowadays there are Ph Degen und Alex Frei under contract.) and Werder Bremen. I like their football, their offensive style and with Diego they have one of the best offensive midfielder outside la liga. their supporters are cool as well, they hate HIV with a passion :icon_mrgreen:

    St Pauli are legends ;)

    Never had any particular soft spot for any German teams but have long enjoyed watching the Bundesliga. Your certainly right about Werder Bremen too and the excellent attacking style they play. Tomas Schaff has done a sensational job there over the years always losing his best players once he has build a good team up and then he just goes and does it again with new ones. Plus their gear is green and white with orange trim so that helps.

    yeah indeed, they always had to sell their good players (to bayern).. traitors like ismael, klose or frings (although he's back), mario basler many years ago and so on moved to bayern.

    schaaf managed to replace quality with quality. he had to replace ailton, micoud, those above etc and always brought in a superb player, especially Diego.

    Schaaf wears a werder jumper most of the time, he's bremen through and through. I think he joined them in 1972! He played for them, managed their youth teams and now their A team.

    Yes he has won league titles with them as a player and a coach. I have followed him and what he has done at Bremen coaching wise over the years. Has to be one of the top coaches around in Europe. Totally under rated. You certainly don't find people as loyal as Schaaf very often any more. I think he has won 2 titles as Bremen coach and who knows maybe he can add another this season. They certainly are very much in the hunt.
