Budweiser is a decent and good beer. Pretty good for summertime. Mind you am pretty on my own with that opinion here.

Let me guess, I called you out before you could come on here and go on a "all American beer is rank" rant.

This annoyed you, so that is the best gibe you could come up with? Please spare me.

As a big beer drinker,I have only got into Budweiser in the last few years ,had to buy it for the wee man and there was a few bottles left over

So opened them up and thought this is ok .......

Now a box of 12 bottles in the garden on a sunny day is just orgasmic

And thats coming from a bitter fan

Craft beer here has become huge over the last decade. We have amazing beer available to us at all times now. Very lucky. In the city I live in, we have a few bars that have over 40 beers on tap at all times, and also over 200 bottles to select from. We get the best of the imports and craft brewed beer!

Also, the major brands here (Bud, Miller ect...) are probably our worst beers. Sad that they are what gets exported mainly. I respect Bud, but it is not even close to our best.

I tried Blue Moon, Sam Adams and an IPA that was from Chicago but I can't remember the name of it recently.

I'm not a beer snob so if it's drinkable I'll have it. Sam Adams is probably the nicest of the American beers I've tried.

They are the best of our Major brands in my opinion.

Ive had Miller and Bud as everyone probably has - dont really like them cant mind the last time I bought either, other than that think only Blue Moon and Samuel Adams cant mind what they tasted like, probably alright but not any of my favourites.

The citrus flavour in Blue Moon is really hard to forgive. It comes to the front of all of the other flavours in the beer, and don't really compliment them at all. I tend to avoid it for that reason.

The US has the widest variety of beers you can get from a single country, it's really absurd how much choice you have if you bother to scratch the surface. In Copenhagen this past weekend I went to a dedicated beer bar and found no less than three San Diego microbreweries in bottle, and that's not including the rest of California or even the US as a whole. If you've never had anything from Stone, Lagunitas, Alesmith, Green Flash, Ballast Point, or a multitude of others then you're missing out.

I'm a religious drinker of the Pabst Blue Ribbon. But I'm willing to spend a few extra dollars on a good craft beer.

Really? It's the coriander that comes across too strong in taste for me.
    Tastebuds, eh?
