ICT vs CELTIC Saturday 11th @12.45pm

We were pretty poor today, too many slack passes, losing too many tackles and generally poor decision making. There were a couple of players who were worse than others but whole team was poor. Not many chances created for the amount of possession we had. Credit to Thistle though, although at times defended deep at least they came out more than most teams do against us although I think next week they will sit deeper. Poor performance but still a point away from home, 8 points clear with the same number of games played, that's what matters.

But the squad isn't up to Deila-standard yet, mentally, so it is to be expected.

 

Only got to see the todays result, disappointing we didn't win. I don't understand why Ronny keeps shifting the team about, why change the team that beat Partick in our last match.

 

I think its so we don't rely on individual players,saying that Mathews has to start over Effe next week.

 

Away from home, point gained and Snecky is a tough place to go to .

We play them at home next week, i want to win that one

 

We will absolutely hammer them on the big pitch at Hampden , provided Commons starts .

 

Another boring game

 

Probably the most disappointed at an actual domestic performance, maybe all this season..

But after being fuming earlier, I'll accept this if indeed it was just a case of get a result and one eye on the cup. I also think we'll pummel them and I really hope we do from the off. That was the big disappointment today, scoring straight away yet pegged back and * for the full game after, that shoulda been the goal that set us off and calmed it down, nothing was built on..

Another boring game?

When were all the other boring games you are alluding too?

 

Game was pish. Armstrong was *. Bitton was good as was the goal.

League is pretty much won,so its all good

 

Was one of them games, early K.O, pitch was bobbley as *, * wee stadium with no atmosphere, a home side wanting to break the play up as much as possible.. scrappy as * so it was and hard to watch.

I'll get over it though, another point towards the title.

 

I don't mind the result as long as we pump them next weekend. I sensed beforehand we might drop points today and in the position we are in we can afford to and maybe it's good to get rid of any complacency creeping in before the cup semi.

 

Put it this way, in the season 2014/15 DVD the bonus features are not going to be replays of today or our 2-0 hammering against 10 men partick who could have earned a draw and us relying on a penalty to make things safe. Then there's the St mirren Classic, over an hour to break down the worst team in the league, and a penalty to make things safe! I could go on.
