Been to New York for St Patrick's Day, and if I had the chance I'd go back.

Chicago but for you all I recomend a little jem in New York called Syracuse, most notably palace called Tipperary Hill. It's the heart of Syracuses Irish Community, I grew up there (lol) and it's street lights are reversed. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tipperary_Hill

years ago I went to kilkenny for st. pat's day and the way it worked out also drove up to Dublin for the main parade. and while the Dublin one was great (cos we were drinking and staying overnight) the kilkenny one was much better.
also was down in London the 1st time they done one in Trafalgar sq, and it was o.k, not great but just o.k.

would like to go to new york.

    :97: You drunk already? :icon_mrgreen:

I'm intrigued by the idea of Boston, but it's gotta be Belfast for me. Wanna be closer to home.

Depends on for who many of us Irish Americans celebrate it with corn beef and cabbage and do other great things. But then there are those who sadly make it a day just to get drunk and pretend to be Irish. For me I'll be going to mass before work (I picked St.Pat as my confirmation name) and then for dinner have some corn beef.
