Why would they do it then? Just having a laugh? My * in heaven why go to the trouble? Surely you can accept that maybe someone did something, is that impossible to believe. How many times now have we had trouble in our travels, yet we never do anything, we're just sitting there watching the game, and then BOOM, they attack us...really? If it happened once I might go along with it, but it's happened more than that.

But of course anyone who doesn't see us as constant victims MUST be a Hun! Unbelievable.

I don't know why the police did it because I wasn't there. History tells us that sometimes football fans behave like violent thugs, true; but it also tells us that the police sometimes behave like violent thugs.

So there is video evidence of at least one fan being attacked and no evidence whatsoever of any provocation, that is why people are annoyed at this fine. Do you think that is unreasonable? I don't.

Televised game, instant social media, blogs, camera phones, cctv...

We live in the digital age, if there was crowd disturtbance it would be caught on camera. No footage ergo no disturbance. Not just from footage either but of eyewitness accounts of people who were there. No doubt that is all just neds sticking up for each other though, eh?

Foreign police seem to have a license to knock * out of who they want and nothing ever gets said about it.

 

Foriegn Police**all I can say is yes they can do what they want **I have been chased with drawn batons, tear gas and water cannon. This was at a motorbike race in Belgium years ago , so not just footy fans get hard at times.

Yeh, yeh I know I'm the worst person in the world because I don't wear my green specked glasses all the time. Zagreb have played 6 home ties in Europe this year, have the police had trouble with anyone else? Has any other team been fined for their supporters sitting and doing nothing? Legia have also played 6 home games this year, has anyone else had problems? And I mean the away support from police, NOT the morons in the home support.Since we had problems in Amsterdam has anyone else?

I know the police can be over the top, I also know that fans can cause a problem, it takes two to tango.
