It was a strange one as well, both the commentator and Forrest himself seemed to know he was coming off.

Felt sorry for him today, played well yet he was the one who was sacrificed. Thought it was a bad decision when Deila made it and I was proved right in hindsight. Should have taken Commons off.

Said it in the match thread and this is one thing the manager got wrong, he was our best attacking threat and beat the right back easily, and a man down he would have been the best option to play on the counter, tonev was brung on to do the exact thing Forrest was better suited to do.

I would of kept him on today and hooked the guy who cant control a football. I would of put him on the right to keep Shinnie back more for fear of James' pace.

Didn't matter who was taken off our wide players were not at top form Forrest had some good play not enough same with Commons but the manager has to make the choice.

I thought he was OK today and better than most, he got into good areas although sometimes never made the most of it.

Would he not have been better to keep on and use him to relieve pressure and on the counter?

He done a lot more than any other player today, then again until now I was thinking he done okay but after watching the game back he was head and shoulders our best player. The stick he gets is unbelievable people are completely barbaric thinking with their thinking. Forrest is a world beater a player better than Mcgeady on form but we wont support him till he reaches that form because through no fault of his own hes been injured.

I'm not his biggest fan, but taking him off was a colossal mistake.

Think he was the fall guy because you can't trust him to go the full game.

I'm not his biggest fan by any means, but he should have been left on, and Commons should have been taken off, no question about it.

I agree and i said the same yesterday. He might even have been carrying a wee knock from the first half as well. If it was me i would have kept Jamesy on but i can see why the manager made the decision he did.

On a good run now, played well yesterday again. Had a lot of stick of late but is responding in my opinion..

Wish he would start lacing some of his shots though, always a side foot..

Him and Commons need to have a word with each other, Forrest always passes shots and Commons always blasts them, they need a mix of each others styles.

Nah just Forrest, striking a ball is hardly a fault of commons with the amount he bangs in..
Shoots too much but has a belter of a strike..

I only seen the highlioghts but he looked like he was involved in a lot of our good play. He also looked as if he was moving more freely, perhaps that comes with the confidence of playing.

He's right on schedule for me.

I said a couple of weeks ago if he could stay injury free, get a few more games before the end of the season then get a full pre season under his belt, we will truly see the best of him.

    So far so good.

He's also took some hefty tackles recently with no adverse affects. All bodes well for his future.

    Played well yesterday.

Think he might have lost some pace over the last two seasons through the injuries, hope he can make up for it though...

Hasn't really turned out as expected, wasn't he linked to Spurs etc. back in like 2012

Must be the longest he's went without getting injured for quite a while?

He's been playing reasonably well recently.

This is probably his longest injury free run since he first broke into the team. That's going on 7 months now.

I don't think Ronny would trust him enough to give him 15+ games in a row though. Still a bit to go yet I feel.
