The Celtic Song so long as Dean Park doesn't sing it.
This appears to be a dead thread, no wonder given the events over the past 48 hours, shame really, lots of good books mentioned barring the classics and the occasional no brainer, well impressed by many a recommendation, suggest we keep this going and maybe have top 20 genre threads, such as Fiction, Non Fiction, Sci Fi, Sci Fantasy, Biography, History, and * like H Potter AND Da vinci Code stuff.

    Just a thought.

Aye, read all his books. Not bad if your from the East End, you can relate to places and people mentioned in the books. Used to work with an ex copper who was involved in a lot of Ferris' "incidents" and he said 99% of the books stories are false accouts. He would though, wouldn't he.

I must admit that I don't see the fascination re the Ferris gangland thing, he wouldn't last 10 seconds in Coatdyke :56:My brother is a Glasgow cop and pally with a certain Beltrami's (lawyer) son. Not a high up guy just a sergeant. The top nutters are nameless and don't have * houses in a * area nicknamed the Ponderosa!

Another interesting book is "The Committee" by Sean McPhilmey. I believe that the english goverment baned it from being published and tried to get it baned in the US but lost in court. Very revealing book on the 6 counties.
