Yeah, I was just using the phrase og used to make a point.

Definitely wouldn't change our shape for Inter though, last thing we need is to second guess ourselves.

Get a 1 or 2 goal lead to take to Italy then we can play 4-3-3.

Yeah we should absolutely play the same system, i mean our full back could maybe start from a deeper position. My fear is that Inter may sit back and soak us up looking for a fast counter. We were the better side against Juve but it was a masterclass in smart boxing that night. I definitely reckon we can beat them but caution has to be advised also.

    Agreed.

It will be a good measure of where we are just now.

Aye i really hope we can go through because the more experience Ronny gets in European knockout football the better. Even if we do go out then im sure he will learn from the tie. At the very least he will have amassed 14 games experience in europe. That is well over 1/3 of a domestic season.

It was a good game tonight, but Inter's pressing will have * loads more pace about it.

So the worry for me is how we react to a pressing game acted upon ourselves. But with the new guys coming into the side, we have some time - one more game for it all to gel a bit more and hopefully that will be enough.

Maybe we have enough quality to handle Inter's pressing game and Inter might be surprised by ours.

Stranger things have happened at Celtic Park in front of a full house.

Juve was a masterclass in how to be cheating c**ts and pay a ref to ignore someone literally getting the shirt ripped off his back while standing 5-yards away.

If you'd asked me before Christmas I'd have leaned towards no.

Now I think we're in with a great chance. We're the underdogs obviously, but I don't think it's out of the question.

Felt confident at the Juve tie, before * sake Efe. Don't start the game in a similar note and anything's possible.

I can't see anything but a win in the home tie. I really can't.

How many times have we gone into a Euro tie against a side struggling to find any decent form domestically, and we get pumped?

    ?????? Johansen ??????
    Griffiths

I think they all have their names on the team-sheet, only question is who will take the remaining two places. Probably only be out of Stokes, Armstrong, Wakaso, Forrest and Guidetti(could drop Griffiths to wing).

Id be tempted to go Griffiths and Wakaso wide, probably the two strongest defensively and also great pace and put Guidetti up front(* well overdue due a goal).

Stokes and Forrest would be good to have off the bench if it's tight.

You would go Wakaso against Inter? :smiley-laughing002:

Commons and Stokes to start for me, they have deserved it.

Aye, Commons and Stokes are the type of players who could get us done and the main thing for me is not to lose/not to concede a goal in the home leg.

Griffiths and Wakaso will put a good shift in, in the wide positions and give us the extra pace and closing down that Commons and Stokes for example won't.

Commons, Guidetti and Stokes should start in my opinion.

Wakaso hasn't played in about a hunner years mate. * madness to even consider him for a game of such importance.

Not a chance Anthony Stokes will start against Inter Milan.
