People do realise we've got two games in hand right? "if it keeps heading the way it's going" then we'll win the league (as in we keep picking up the same average points per game that we have been doing and so do Aberdeen). :97:

Nah, it just seems like that to you because you are only interested in reading the posts that quote yourself.

Try frequenting the rest of the MB, then again, that's nae fun for you is it, not as fun as spreading your hyperbolic negative * pile of * all over Celtic Chat is it?

Ok i can't speak for everyone but for me its not about the points and where we are in the league, its the way our games are going.

We are poor, cant really defend worth a * and now guidetti has gone off the boil we are finding it really tough to get goals.

But even more of a problem is ronny refusing to make the changes that are needed to get us playing and scoring again.

We have two of the best strikers in the splsplplfplf in the last few years and one has been moved onto the wing(stokes) and one cant get a game even though we are screaming out for goals.
If ronny went back to 4-4-2 and put stokes and griff up front we would get goals for fun.
And until he gets more of his players in for his new system he needs to give it some thought.

I agree with this. The stubbornness of the manager is a big concern also

Just a question of where Aberdeen will seal the league now. Could be a big Dons Party on our turf in May if we don't play our cards right.

Your post most cliched argument of the anti-Ronny brigade I've ever seen.

"playing poorly", "can't defend" and "should play 4-4-2". This is astounding stuff. I though you were better than this.

In our last 10 games we've won 8, drawn 1 and lost 1 in the league. The performances have hardly been that shocking either.

Can't defend? Ok defensively we aren't as strong as under Lenny perhaps, but we've conceded 12 goals in 19 games. That's way less that 1 goal a game ffs. Again hardly disastrous.

We're limited in terms of our attacking and goal scoring potential simply because we don't have the right players here. Our wingers are poor and we've been forced to play Stokes wide and Guidetti seems to be our only decent out and out striker and when he's not playing well then of course we're going to struggle.

No he doesn't need to give up on his system, that's how development works you stick with things even when everything isn't going brilliant it's how things progress.

You say it's not the points you're worried about, but what is it? We're still going to win the league, in his first season that's all we can ask for as well as hoping we start moving into the right direction and hopefully he starts getting in more players that he needs.

The league will be a lot closer this season than some people think, our defence is rotten, we struggle to score goals, but my main concern is Deila i dont rate the guy and as the manager/coach/puppet he is to blame

You end with the working assumption "we are still going to win the league ", as I already said to JC Anton that is a most dangerous and complacent way to think, and underestimates your opponents badly. You still don't get it, do you ? The Aberdeen team, manager and their fans think they are capable in their own minds of winning this league and they are * bent on winning it. Aberdeen have a very bright manager who knows what he is doing, not building up too great expectations but wisely at the same time not dampenig them either. Aberdeen have a well oiled, drilled and disciplined team with a good squad of players, and no doubt Derek McInnes will add some quality to that squad this window.

What do we have in comparison ? I would like to know.

I know, right. Don't you know that it is not Aberdeen who are good, but Deila who is making them better than past seasons. See that peach he scored for them today? Great save at the end too.

Had respect for a short period with you,I'm lying,I never did.you've always been a bit of a *,that post is typical of the * you spew.
Come May,WE WILL BE CHAMPIONS,I have no fear of Aberdeen what so ever.
They are on a run,so what, fair play to them.
    Last team to beat them,with 10 men,yeah.
They will drop points soon,we will best them twice.
If you fear the sheep, you should go support Inverness or some other *

our team is the most uncreative bunch in celtic tops for many years . no width no pace . surely ronny and the board can see that . if we come out of the transfer window weaker than we went in .the league will go elsewhere lack of spending will be the cause that and the cheap option we always seem to prefer .hope im wrong but I aint .
