Discuss Does anyone know how to set up a business plan in the TalkCeltic Pub area at TalkCeltic.net.

    Trying to get a business plan set up and also a presentation ready to ask for funding but it's a nightmare.
    Everyone i approach that could be interested like the idea but want others to start the funding first before they put their hands in their pockets.
    It's charitable aims but cannot set up a charity.
    The main problem is presenting a cash flow forecast when i would have to sign people up to the business to get the fees necessary to run it.
    I know in my heart that it would be a success but it's getting started that is the problem. :54:

    Yes, it isn't easy though and isn't something you'd really be able to help with through an Internet Forum.

    Your best bet would be to source one from someone/somewhere that has similar objectives then amend it.

    Are you based in Scotland? I set up my own business last year and had a huge amount of help from Business Gateway. Seminars on funding options, cashflow, how to write business plans etc and all free!

    nah, based in England

    When i lived in Scotland i went through a couple of courses with Business gateway.
    Down here to get anywhere you have to pay for everything. :54:

    The bank said they would help to fund but only if CCG do so.
    The CCG said they would fund but only if bank does so.
    Neither want to be the one who sarts the funding.
    Talked to Health department of Uk Parliament.
    They like the idea but won't fund as they said that they don't want to play favourites.
    Business First have said that they won't help either.
    Contacted Bill Gates Foundation and they won't give funds to any group or person living in a developed country.

    I could help at least 15 million people in the UK but noone wants to back me with funds.
    I need the funds to set it up and to get those funds i need the business plan.
    To get that business plan down here i have to pay with funds i don't have. :31:
