Only thing about Mcdonald which concerns me is when we's not scoring he doesn't add anything to the team.

Whoahhhhhhh , Nah not really I just thought I'd thrown that in for the * of it..

What does concern me though is how he wears his heart on his sleeve just a little too much. It's as if he feels he has to try even harder to prove himself to us fans and show that he knows what it means to play for such a massive club.. (possibly because of him being a Celtic fan)..
Relax Scotty Mcd , it's a marriage , and we're in it together for the long haul.. :icon_mrgreen:

Every decision that goes against him , he is cursing and swearing , every time he gives the ball away he is fighting extra hard to get it back (while cursing and swearing) and everytime he scores a goal he celebrates it like it could be his last (probably still swearing away)..
Every game he plays you can hear him swearing away at some point..
That is passion for a club.
Don't you just love the guy..

 

Boruc...6 hot and cold but has not the master he was recently

Caldwell...6-Tough start but he is doing well at RB for a CB

Naylor...7-Looked like he was going to have a bad game but got better and better

Kennedy...6, lack of mobility continues to worry. Needs to prove he is up to this level before January

McManus...6, as above

Jarosik...6, Lots of effort and usual decent CL shift but he doesnt offer anything going forward and shouldnt be played wide except in backs to the wall games. Faded badly in last third of game.

Brown...7, Got better as the game went on. Flashes of brilliance. He will one day be a great but he will take another year or two learning.

Hartley...8, He is now one of the 5 or 6 who simply have to play every game. We now have the Hearts Hartley. Deserves his success and shows its worth waiting sometimes.

McGeady...9.5. His sudden increase in pace and strength has raised him to a new level. The only reason I am not giving him a 10 is his final ball was poor a few times in very good postions late in the game.


JVOH...4- Hopefully just not match fit but has until January to prove he is the European quality player he seemed when he first arrived.

McDonald...9-Superb all round player. If he keeps this up all season he will be worth 6 million quid in the summer. A WGS signing masterstroke.

Donati-7-Thought Donati looked very decent when he came on and I do think he is a better player than JJ. Certainly a better passer.

Jarosik was subbed out in the 66th minute of the game and replaced by donati. Maybe thats why he faded?

(BORUC) = (8) = (Hes a heart in your mouth keeper if u know what i mean but you can always count on him pulling of 1 or 2 world class saves must be 1 of the top 5 keepers in the world)

(NAYLOR) = (7) = (Good use of the ball and defended well looking more like the player from last season didnt look out his depth once)

(MCMANUS) = (8) = (Under a bit of pressure in the first half but dealt with it! sometimes he can get caught for pace but looking solid and could be a first class defender every team needs a player like mick)

(KENNEDY) = (7) = (Missed a sitter in the first half and looked nervous in the first 45 but as the second half went on he won every ball he went for looking better and better each week)

(CALDWELL) = (7) = (Always looks nervous in Europe but you can say what you want about him but he gives 100% every game no matter where he plays hes a verry honest player who gets alot of undeserved flack)

(MCGEADY) = (10) = (Today the bhoy became a man looks faster stronger and he knows hes quality best game in a celtic shirt benfica will be having nightmares about our Irish Brazilian for the rest of the season if aiden can keep this up we have a world class winger the only contender for Ferguson's player of the year crown)

(BROWN) = (9) = (Thats more like it this is why we payed 4.5million for him ran all night frustrated benficas midfeild and was lucky to escape a broken leg i hope that wee * gets arthritis in both knees for that shocking tackle)

(HARTLEY) = (8) = (Covered every blade of grass 100% commitment 100% effort he also gives brown the freedom to move forward i think if he didnt miss the huns game the score would never have been 3-0 that's how good hes been)

(JAROSIK) = (7) = (Well well what can you say about this guy 6 months ago id have payed for his flight and driven him to the airport myself but now i think he could be a big part of our squad his commitment is better along with his effort)

(MCDANALD) = (7) = (Ran his socks off all game must be a * to play against i questioned if he was good enough to partner JVOH at the start of the season now i wonder if its the other way round he will score 30+ a season i have no doubt about that)

(VENNIGOOR OF HESSELINK) = (6) = (don't think he gives enough the only player who didnt give 100% and he was the same before his injury shouldn't have started before big Killen think this is a position we need to strengthen in January)

SUBS.....

(KILLEN) = (7) = (Done more in 15 mins than jan did in 70 don't think he will ever score 30 a season but hes big strong and can move himself hes still only a young guy and will get better like Jarosik killen can be a big part of our squad)

(DONATI) = (7) = (Done well when he came on but due to the form of Hartley he will need to be content with a place on the bench if he plays like that when he gets his chance he will be in the first team soon enough)

JVOH...7 still not match fit but will get there

McDonald...8 never managed to score but was a major problem for them

 

Spot on JJ is not bad better in CM not RM where he was played lastnight shoula had brown RM JJ CM but managed to do well bring on Shitker they might be a good team but think we can get the 2-0 at home think maybe leave JFK out for few games get caldwell in CB and get o'dea back to LB

Kennedy...8...thought he was very assured actually myself,..solid and his best game since his injury

McManus...6...bombscare at times..all heart not enough use of the head

McGeady...9.5..brilliant..How he can't get in the Scotland team is unbelievable to me

Caldwell - 7 Did ok

Naylor - 6 Did pathetic to begin with, gave ball away but picked up

Kennedy - 6 Didn't seem to have much control, could've got a goal with header

McManus - 7 Did ok

Jarosik - 6 Pretty *

Brown - 7 Did ok

Hartley - 6 Couple of ok tackles, stayed with players well

McGeady - 9 Brilliant play, great runs, brilliant strong goal

JVOH - 5 *, i think i heard of him twice?

McDonald - 8 Really good. Pity he didn't score.
