    * that dont want any of them cl teams Liverpool will now be going for the back door cl qualification, olympiakos are a quality team at the moment ,anderlecht did well in a difficult group and zenit love this competition and take it very seriously.

    I'm hoping for Legia. They hate us and their fans will go berserk and get themselves kicked out of the competition after trashing us, getting us into the final 16. :icon_mrgreen:

    I think we *could*, yes. We narrowly lost to Salzburg over the two legs in our group and as you pointed out are obviously improving. We will have John Guidetti for the EL knockouts and hopefully one or two other new signings. I don't think we would be favourites, but I think we could potentially beat them. Why, if you could see us maybe beating them in a one off could you not maybe see us beating them over two legs? Chance will always be involved but I see no reason why with a bit of luck we couldn't.

    They definitely will be once all the other games are played though. Anderlecht, Zenit and Olympiakos all have more than 5 already, plus either Schalke or Maribor and BATE or Bilbao will be on at least 6 in 3rd place after tomorrow night.

    Would be some laugh getting Maribor again now that I mention it!
