    We missed John Guidetti tonight.

Scepovic is awful - the next Pukki.

If Guidetti was playing we would have won.

But we don't want to do a Legia...

Leigh Griffiths did more in the 18 minutes he was on the pitch than Scepovic did in the 72 minutes he was on the pitch.

Griffiths is a very good player and should be getting a lot more game time than he has been getting recently. Id go as far as to say if Griffiths had started that match we would have won, Celtic looked much more dangerous when he came on.

Bit harsh on scep considering he never got the service, he kept having to drop off to get a touch of the ball, done some good link up play as well. Griffiths looked great as well, he's got a point to prove so will hopefully get some more game time.

Not buyin into this you make your own breaks he received the same service as griffiths or stokes would have received you create yourself chances by moving or coming short or dragging defenders etc don't buy into this he isn't getting the service we put a few high balls into the box but he didn't seem to be there we played on the deck and again he wasn't there he got a chance and blew it the guy needs games not 1 then dropped for 3 lol baffles me that his only appearances in between are sub appearances.

    Confident of beating Salzburg.

Not going to beat them in my eyes, it's going to be a hammering.

We made Salzburg look fairly ordinary in the first game, it was just our defence that let us down as usual.

They will * themselves in front of a (hopefully) big and raucous crowd at Paradise.

Not if Dinamo don't win in Romania  Astra are already out but they will fight to get a victory.
Laban lost his mind with that criminal challenge in the final minutes :31: And it's a pity because he's a good player and will be missed against Dinamo.

I don't think you guys will have problems to qualify. A different thing is the first position, but you still have a chance for that beating Salzburg at home.

Salzburg didn't impress in Giurgiu either. They won 1-2, but it was a very pathetic Astra that night (I even suspect they sold the match...you know, fix matches for betting and that stuff. But it's a personal impression). Now they are at a better level.

Have to say my overall felling after the game is one of disppointment. We should have beat this mob. Funnily enough I thought we played better at times tonight than we did in the 1st three games but ended up with our worst result so far.
1st half we played well. 2nd half we seemed to take the foot off a bit but at the same time never looked like conceding (cause Astra are * basically). Their goal came from a bit of magic that the keeper could do nothing about, yes you could say he shouldn't have had so much space in that position but I wouldn't exactly call it a defensive * up.
Goes to show that 1-0 is never enough no matter who you are playing against and I hope the Bhoys can learn a lesson from this.
Performances. Gordon made a few good saves, although ones you'd expect your goalkeeper to make. Could do nothing about the goal. I thought the back four looked ok all night. I actually thought Mugrew put in a decent shift and Brown, out from a few wayward passes helped Celtic control things in the middle for the majority of the game. Johansson looks a totally different player in the more forward role, always looks like he can create something and took his goal well, albeit a helpful wee deflection on it. Wakaso, I'm still not sure about, shows signs that he's a quality player but gave away posession too easily at times. McGregor...apparantly he was playing, maybe he got lost in the fog cause I saw * all of him. Would have liked to see Tonev or anybody come on for him as he was AWOL the whole game.
Scep so far hasn't been good enough for me and again tonight, apart from a few nice flicks, was well below the pass grade. Makes some nice runs off the ball, but never seems to work hard enough for the 50/50 balls, seems like unless it's put it pinpoint at his feet or head he couldn't be arsed going for it, very weak too.
Griffiths looked dangerous when he came on, had 2 great chances and had, in my view, a perfectly good goal scratched off.
If you offered me 8 points after 4 games and being 5 points clear in second place before the competition I'd have taken hand and all so can't really complain about where we are.
One win or 2 draws will guarantee us last 32 and I think we're well capable of getting that...just * off we missed a great opportunity to put ourselves in pole position to win the group and avoid teams like Inter, Sevilla, Napoli and the best of the champions league drop offs in the next round.

it did seem like we ran out of energy in midfield 2nd half and early on in the 2nd half aswell

i was thinking wakaso looked done, mgreggor looked done and browns game was like a tale of 2 halfs and well johansen aswell dissapeared

now i know if one players game collapses then the others have to work harder so maybe thats why it looked like they all were * 2nd half, but unusually it was big charlie who was running his heart out doing the work of more than one man

what the * happened to us 2nd half and do we have the quality depth to replace wakaso and mgreggor early 2nd half and would that have save us ?

looked like manager mistakes in not replacing players that were out on their feet

Said that a few times last night as well. We were much better with the ball last night than we previously have been in Europe this season.

Still can't believe that goal never stood

Thumb said: “I’ve watched it back and everyone in the changing room has watched it and they say it’s not a foul.

“I knew it wasn’t a foul, I just stood my ground and the boy jumped into me.

“I read where the ball was going and knew he’d jumped awkwardly and was going to fall backwards.

“The ball fell to my feet and I put it away.

“The ref didn’t even blow straight away, he let me go away and celebrate then brought it back and started laughing about it.

“It seemed like every foul he gave against us he started laughing.

“I can’t believe he’s given a foul for that, I’ve watched it back three or four times, as has the manager and everyone else and they agree it’s not a foul.”

Was there even any contact between Griffiths and the Astra player?

A bit sore to drop points like that and we have two tough EL games ahead.

Some goal from Johansen, unfortunately theirs was a cracker as well.

Shocking challenge on Mulgrew at the end.

On we roll to the Salzburg game, surely it will be a sell out or close to one anyway.

I heard Griffiths had a goal disallowed, ITV.com didn't even show it.
