It's probably to do with the board criminalising are fans to people don't feel welcome anymore also more needs to be done about the atmosphere we shouldn't have to rely on the GB to generate atmosphere encourage more people to stand and let alcohol be sold in stuidims

The power is in the people not the people in power

    You're on the money Devlin.

Can't stand fans who only support us for the 'Old Firm' games, or the CL games.

If you are a true fan/supporter of Celtic, it matters not who the opposition is. You will still go to the games when you can, hunt for a stream, or frantically check the results on your mobile every 2minutes.

Unfortunately, we have openly seen far too many people who care more about who we play - and saying "I was there when we played such-and-such" than actually following the team.

Celtic is more than 4 'old firm' games a season.

If you bought a season ticket in the past for simply those four games (two rather since you bought only for the home games) then shame on you.

It was talked about when the huns went bust, and now it is showing to be true. Far too many people only care for the glory of beating the 'important' teams. Well guess what, beating Partick Thistle and Hamilton is more important this year than this diddy club, Sevco.

    1) * the board, they aren't the club - why should that stop you (generalised) from attending games, but suddenly bring you (generalised) flooding back for this game?
    2) * the GB - it's not the board that stops you from singing because the GB is there. Stand up and sing a good football song, and be part of the club.
    3) Alcohol makes no difference - if you need it to enjoy a Celtic game (or any part of your life) then you have bigger issues.
    4) Yes, so use your power and be part of this club.

I know pal, was hoping to make it generalised and not actually against you. Too many excuses seem to fly around though, when it really comes down to folk just aren't bothering their * till it seems "fun".

It's a game in 3 * months time, and it's all the talk of the town for * sake! how about the next 3 EL games? going top of OUR league? the draw for the next round of the SC and the EL? January transfer window - but naw, there are people more interested in seeing this match than following the other aspects of our club.

I used to have season tickets for years as a child and I frequently use spare season tickets from my supporters club or buy tickets for the odd game I can afford. I have a daughter and I'm a single parent and currently out of work and waiting to go back to college, I can't afford a season ticket just now but I'll be going out my way and willing to spend a fair part of my savings on a ticket for this game. I think "Glory Hunter" is a disgusting way to describe a fellow Celtic fan. This game is a life time chance for some people and every Celtic fan on the planet will want a ticket. As far as I look at it is well done to the people who get tickets. If you want one hard enough you'll manage. If not then grit your teeth and get on with it and hope for a decent Celtic win. This is pettyness. Can see where both sides are coming from but it's just one of those things.

You don't think someone who is only interested in CL games and hun games, someone who sometimes can't even be arsed checking our score against so called "*" teams much less actually watch the game in some way, should be labeled a gloryhunter?

I'm in much the same boat as you, I can't afford to go every week but I still live and breathe this club and try to schedule my life around every single game we play so I don't miss it.

Nobody on here as everyone comes on here to discuss their team on a daily or weekly basis.

23,000 odd posts about Celtic tells me you aint no glory hunter:smiley-laughing002: thats wht i was trying to get at in my posts. As a 25yr old I am currently financially able to follow my club as much as I want and I dont work wkends either but it wont always be that easy in the future when I have kids as im sure sacrifices will have to be made but I will still live and Breathe Celtic Football Club as any games I wont be able to make I will still be on here pre and post match over analysing the match like we all do and if money becomes the problem then I will watch it on tv or find a dodgy stream for every match that I possibly can not just the old firm games or when we play europes elite. Too many ppl have took offence on here when it was aimed at ppl that wouldnt even know this or any other Celtic forum or website exists.

Agree with the gist of this thread.

Getting to each and every game now a days can be an issue for a lot of folk (I'm the same, only really get to away games now) but I gather that's not what this is about.

One thing that has always * me off is * who pick us up and drop us whenever they feel like it. I'd rather they took no interest in us at all.

Your last paragraph is exactly what this thread is about and nothing more.

I get how it's annoying but surely they're an irrelevance anyway and not worth getting worked up over

Every successful club has these sorts of fans, if they don't get enough enjoyment out of the normal season then more fool them, they're missing out on what it really means to support a football team

Tad harsh calling people "fake",the last few years have given us a very unstable economic climate for working class people, add to that our best players seem to get sold every year or so,again add to that, that a one horse race doesn't pop everyones toast.:50:

I dont know many glory hunters. I do know people who have lost interest since rangers died. When i have tried to kick their * they have said its hard to get excited about a foregone conclusion.

When do tickets go on sale anyway and do I get first choice at them?
