Experience and knowledge of the fixture - that's what John Collins has to offer the gaffer going into The League Cup Semi Final (although they are a new club it's the same fans, same bigotry and same everything so the atmosphere will be the same). We have a lot of players and a manager who don't know what they're going in to where as they the likes of Fat Sally and Lee McCulloch who have been waiting for three year for this. I can't help thinking about Lubo's Old Firm debut when we annihilated them 5-1. If we're honest, they had a team full of past and future Champions Leauge and World Cup winners (that we now know they couldn't afford) and we had (Lubo and Henrik apart) a team that weren't up to it. The fact of the matter that day was they had a lot of players (and a manager) who didn't know what they were going in to and froze. I have a real worry that the same may happen to us in the semi if the likes of JC, Broonie, Charlie even Adam Mathews etc who have played in Old Firm games prepare the newer guys for what they're in for.

We have more staff used to this game than they do.

Broony, Charlie, Lustig, Matthews, Izzy, Zaluska, Forrest, Stokes, Kayal, just names right off the top of my head.

Most of their derby veterans * off after they died, as was their right when the club died.

Fair play but a lot of them know what it's about even if they've never played in them before.

Don't get me wrong - I'm not saying they'll beat us - just that Ronnie needs to be educated about what's coming. I really believe JC has a massive part to play in all of this.

It's a fair point concerning the coaching staff, JC will be invaluable in that respect.

We do have a lot of players who will be clueing up the noobs though.

I have no fears about this game.

We have the better players thats for sure but time and time again these * manage to drag the game into a scrap and stop the flow of the game every time and play into their hands with their constant fouling and long ball *. If we keep ten men on the park and get playing football we'll beat them, that for me is more important than experience.

Why are people saying * like "Hun players will know what it's about".

It'd matter if they were good. The simple fact is Van Dijk, Denayer, Guidetti, Johansen will be coming up against players like Lee McCulloch, Kenny Miller and Stevie Smith fucksake. We will bury them.

Ronny will have the players fired up more than ever. He knows what it'll mean to win the treble here. The players will go out and smash everyone of they Hun *.

    Up the Sun *.

    We have:

Zaluska, Matthews, Izaguirre, Ambrose, Mulgrew, Lustig, Brown, Commons, Kayal, Stokes and John Collins who have all experienced it first hand. We also have Gordon, Van Dijk and Guidetti who I have absolutely no doubts will have no trouble dealing with the occasion. That's 13 players and a coach who know exactly what the story is.

They have Lee McCulloch, Lee Wallace, Kris Boyd, Kenny Miller and the coaching staff.

4 washed up never has-beens and a pie muncher.

I would start Kayal in midfield for this game. He is firey, he adds extra protection infront of our defence and he has played in these matches before and is no stranger to hampden.

Believe it or not Ambrose signed a few months after the huns died. Unbelievable think for aslong as he has had our hearts in our mouths its been even longer since we played them lol.
