Discussing this with wife this morning.
When a male customer service assistant speaks to a guy they sometimes add SIR at the end. It's polite and respectful.

Probably a few funny comments about to be made but if the ghirls on here can make a suggestion, what is the proper etiquette, for male staff, when speaking to a female customer.

Can't really say "Can i help you Mrs"

    Suggestions.

Can't stand getting called sir. Freaks me out a bit. Especially if it's some spotty faced saturday boy :smiley-laughing002:

I know my girlfriend and my mother both hate it when someone calls them madame.

If its in person, always re-adjust your balls while addressing her, and stare at her *.......but if its a phone customer, just refer to her as a hoe!
    That should do the trick!
    Youre welcome.:50:

Was on the phone to BT and the girl asked do you mind if I call you Garry? Why the * would anyone need to ask if they can call you by your own name!

Unless she actually wanted to call me!
