Fucksake :56: If Larsson was in our side right now and went a game without scoring you would all be out calling him a donkey ect.

He's a good player, just in some bad form much like lustig.

    What are some people watching?

Today, he played umpteen exceptional passes.

One in particular to Scott Brown with the outside of his left foot which set Brown free on the side of the box who then tried to cut it across the box, but it came to nothing.

Also had at least 2 or 3 very good 30-40 yard over the top passes to set free our strikers, who's touch would then let them down in getting a chance.

He has a really good passing ability, would be great in a more forward role than box to box.

The formation has changed for one and the style of play.

He is running about like a headless chicken half the time now and with the 4 attackers not really doing much defensively it's left to him and Brown to do everything, both attacking and tracking back.

In a midfield 3 with 2 other players helping him he will find form again for me.

    Hardly comparable.

He has been poor all season, not just one game.

For the record, I like him as a player,(see above) but I don't want him continually being in the side right now if he is going to continue to play poorly or if he is not suited to the 2 in the middle. Kayal has impressed alot when given the chance why not let him come in?

Would love to see him in the Commons role, could imagine him being excellent there with picking players out.

    Brown Kayal
    Forrest Johansen Wakaso
    Guidetti

He has some great passes yes, but gives the ball away far too much in dangerous areas. Dont get me wrong I hope its bad form but that remains to be seen

So its managerial failings for you then mate.

Been a long day and I'm * confused, on some threads I'm reading its down to the Managers tactics and on others its down to player failings and commitment!

    They are all *!:56:

Last season he was brilliant full of energy and skill .
This season he has been very poor so far is it due to him being off form or he doesn't understand his role under Ronny I am * if I know !

Well, aye in a way but he must take some blame as well, he looks a bit knackered all the time which I don't understand. As do quite a few of them, maybe Deila is going overboard with the fitness:56:

The sooner RD realises we must play 2 up top(for now at least) and try and give the midfield 2 more protection, the better.

Easily the best passer we have.

We will continue to struggle so long as the midfield two are him and brown .

3 in the midfield has to be a no brainer. I'd lke to see a 4 3 3 getting implemented, with a slightly tighter front 3.

    Ronnys system is getting overun.

lts getting overrun because theres at least 1 maybe 2 not fighting for the cause

    commons and stokes

drop commons for someone who is gonna fight like * battle away to keep the ball can run with the ball and can link with the forward players, brown or johansen can do it, we have kayal who's bursting to be involved in the team and bitton who are decent footballers and also young henderson that looks to be getting forgotten about

the amount of times our attacks break down cause commons * up is unbelievable really, commons and stokes are such inconsistent players

Take the heat of him by either playing him in a 3 or push him further forward where his headless chicken routine might be more effective. In the current system he can't handle the responsibility or isn't good enough to be playing in a 2. By constantly playing the guy his confidence has nose dived and the team are hamstrung.

    My thinking too.

Tbh, he runs about like a headless chicken.

Zagreb highlighting that fact when Brown was running back, had Izzy behind him and then Johansen started running behind both of them too after Brown had pointed to get into the centre.

As for best passer of a ball, sorry no he ain't, our 2 centre backs can pass the * off them. If you stick with one of them, I'd pick Brown, although I prefer Kayal better, for me he actually wins balls better and is quicker off the mark closing down players.

We don't have the class to operate with a 4-3-3 formation. The likes of Barca, Munich and Madrid play with this system and for them it works wonders because they have the talent.

Having 3 men in midfield is risky. Martin O'Neill often had 5 in the middle and we won nearly every match (with a much better squad mind).

Actually that's really it, Deila is trying to do something with a squad of players who aren't upto the job for me.

Although, I'm not actually sure yet what he's trying to do.

I get the fast part, as he's introducing some speed, but flowing football, ffs, nowhere near it, we're not even anywhere near the best passing team in Scotland, and I'm deadly serious about that.
