Well, it was hard going after we scored a lovely goal.

We were very lucky not to conceed in the second half. Craig Gordon take a bow or three.

But * it, we were lucky but we won and sometimes you need a bit or a lot a luck in Europe and we got it tonight.

2 wins from our next 4 games should see us through.

It will eventually come together, believe me. Ronny will get it right.

    Up the Ra :bbpd::icon_mrgreen:

  2. Terrific result, hopefully we can learn and improve from this.

Still really concerned with the shape at time, and our ball retention is pretty * shocking tbh. I think we need another quality player in next to Brown, Johansen just isn't doing it for me.

Alright mate. Just seems you've came on a lot looking for conflict lately in threads about the hoops and the ra.

you've had some cracking contribution on here in the past (Celtic pictures immediately springs to mind) but you are definitely different nowadays, i'm sure you know exactly what i mean.

    Just an observation mate.

  4. Solid win. We where the better team in the first half tried a bit in the second and sat back in to protect the lead doesnt mean we have played bad! thought id come on here to read people praising a good hard fought win but * sake people just love to moan eh.

Another thing Commons is really starting to annoying me half of our play breaks down due to him being able to keep the ball when he receives it the amount of time he wastes possession in the final third is ridiculous if it was any other player people would be screaming to get him off.

  5. More or less what I've thought, thanks for the response

  6. We smashed mariner and could have won 4-1 out there, they were a much better team tonight and it was always gonna be tough, we gave everything and dug in with some top displays..

I'm delighted with the result and with ronny tonight, still have scepovic, Forrest, lustig, Matthews etc to come in and hopefully if we get through guidetti, lots to be encouraged about..

Half that Croatian team will end up around top clubs in Europe very soon..

  8. It's not been easy being a Celtic fan this year with the sudden shock of losing Lenny and a new guy coming in that nobody had heard about before, and then the Champion's League disappointment, so I fully understand how some Celtic fans are feeling, there has not been that much to cheer about so far, still tonight could be a turning point.

  10. Great result for us tonight despite the few edgy moments, hopefully get the two victories against Astra now to see us through to the last 32 :celt_2:

Far from it we looked like the away team for the majority of the game. I agree the QE2 turns quicker than Commons.

Positives for me tonight were the result obviously Gordon still looks solid, Wakaso looks really good and Griffiths and Kayal were great when they came on

I do mate, I love the hoops but sometimes the attitude of some gets right on my * especially in here, if ya have a different opinion to others you get abuse..I used to use this forum all the time but seems to be an influx of right bellends lately..

looking back over the last few posts in this thread you would think we got beat 5-0.

  17. Offense the new defense :50:

  18. When we fail to score away from home; when we go behind and chase the game to no tangible effect; when we pass the ball well in front of the opposing sides defence but never get behind it; when we make chances and fail to take them. we all conclude we're just not good enough and the other side (be it Milan, Juve, Benfica or whoever) are just better.

When we score early, defend the lead and take three points, we're still not happy.

    Them's the breaks.

Oh, and Ronny, too many people have nailed their colours to the mast on here to ever give you credit.

  19. A lot of positives tonight they have some good players, they are no mugs. 3 points is brilliant. Gives us a chance of actually doing something in this tournament. All the players worked hard.
