He probably is worth £4m to an EPL team/top championship team - that is nothing. In a wider footballing sense however, nah.

I doubt we would pay that, no chance. :smiley-laughing002: Not for Anya and not for that position.

No one will pay £4 million for Anya, including English teams.

    I guarantee it.

£4m? I'd only be happy with the transfer if we paid a quarter of that. I don't think we need another wide player, let alone one like Anya. He only shines when he has space to run into, which he won't have here in Scotland.

That's all he is, a speed merchant. Very poor final ball.

    We really do.

Stokes is offski, McGregor has a broken ankle (would be offski if he didn't), and the loans for Wakaso and Tonev aren't being renewed.

I think he would do well as an impact player for us at least domestically.

I like him but no chance for 4 million, most I'd see us paying is 1.5-2 million. If we're spending 4 million on a player there is better out there.

He's effective. It's not all about being "technical" players, like Chris Brunt, Seb Larsson and a whole load of other * ones.

His pace worries defences and he often plays well for Scotland because of this.

That won't really be effective against the tight defences of the SPL though, nor should we be paying 4 million.

I like him but I think we need a speedy winger with a bit more guile and creativity.

£4million is not a fee we're likely to pay.

Reckon he'd fit the system really well though. He'll run all day, track back and dangerous taking players on in and around the box.

Can't see him wanting to leave Watford. They're in the Premiership and finished one point off winning the league.

He'd be a great signing for us though, just not at this sort of daft price range.

So we are clearing out the squad. Likely to leave is,

    Boerrigter
    Wakaso
    Tonev
    Mcgregor
    Balde
    Pukki
    Fridjonsson

Plenty room for him and plenty money through freed up wages

    wing competition would be
    GMS
    anya
    Commons
    Forrest
    Armstrong

I for one would be happy to see some competition

In the unlikely event we pay £4m for anybody, it wont be for Ikechi fecking Anya.

Seems like a cheeky press release to drive up his price, probably * all to do with us at all.

not really sure where he would fit in? I dont think we would have room for him and sounds like lazy journalism.

I like him, but fek dat for £4m, I was thinking about £1m, or just over that.

We're getting offered £5m for Biton and Gordon, and we're supposedly going to need to pay £4m for a guy who's actually in and out a Watford team, aye, ma birdie.
