    Would be no big loss in my opinion tbh. I thought he did well with the press when Lenny went into self imposed exile but apart from that I wouldn't lose any sleep if he left.

    I've heard it all now. Our assistant manager being blamed for the fact our central defence was so bad today :87:.

    I actually didn't think loovens was that bad today, it's hard to play well as a central defender when your partner is playing so poorly.

    mjalby was a midfielder who was moved back to defence and wasn't that great at it so how can he teach them how to defend when he never really learned himself

    The zonal marking in defense has to be addressed. I don't know if it's Mjallby's idea but both him and Lennon need to do something about it because it's cost us goals as far back as last season.

    Such a flawed thing to say. You can teach and teach and teach but sometimes the players you teach just arent good enough. I doubt even Beckenbauer could polish the * we have in the back.

    Don't you think our defence could defend better knowing they had a decent goalkeeper behind them? i.e. - one who can actually catch the ball?

    Mjallby knew how to defend and he should be training the players when he sees a problem rather than not addressing it. There was no organisation whatsoever at the back, no one commanding in defence. I do agree that Forster being an uncommanding and quiet goalkeeper does not help matters.

    forster was not the answer last year is not the answer this year and imo never will be that was our top priority this summer and has been for 2 year now that can not help any centre nack if there is no confidence in the diiddy behind you
