Got to agree the booing at half time was a surreal experience. We were playing terrible but not under any real pressure from them in the first half.

I think that impacted the managers decision, making us go more attacking when we really didn't need to.

There was one spell where everyone in the ground was singing their lungs out and the players were playing their hearts out. Shame it was a spell.

very good post vert88 and i agree with the lot ..the only point i may make is on the selling of our good players..i think we all understand that when the premier league clubs come calling its very hard for our players to refuse an extremely high pay rise ..i don't think its always the clubs fault when it comes to selling players and i think its just we cant afford what the English clubs are paying ..i believe i've heard it mentioned our top players are on between 20-25 k a week if they go down to the honey and milk league they will double that no doubt so its very hard for players to say no to that..i think if it was a straight swap in wages we would nearly always keep the players..This game we love is run my agents money and sky tv and untill something changes we may be down in the doldrums for long long time in terms of finances and players..but we will never give up and never stop supporting the team we love ..its us the fans who made this great club

It was because the fans were responding to us playing how we should be in my opinion. We were pressing high, and playing in their half, and it was almost wave after wave of attack in that period. We should have been going out to win the game last night, but instead, we sat deep and invited them onto us. We basically done what they done last week, the only difference was, they done it better than us.

That's what I was saying at the match last night, we had no one to carry the ball, get us up the pitch, commit a man, get in behind. All things Sammy had proven he could do time and time again on the biggest stage.

It literally made me feel sick watching it.

We lost because Ronny decided to show Sally McCoist-esque tactical knowledge.

Ronny was meant to be this bright young manager who liked to play football the right way yet he planted us in our own half against a group of nobodys!

Ambrose at rb with Lustig in the centre is just idiotic.. Ambrose provides zero attacking threat from there and Lustig was one of our best players out there in the first leg..

When Commons came on we started to actually play some good stuff. Berget, Commons and Stokes were linking up well. Then ronny shat it disrupting our only good spell to bring a full back on :38:

Im not buying the excuse that its the boards fault for lack of investment. How many of there team would start for us? 2/3 and the most!!!

Gordon, Lustig, van Dijk, Johansen, Pukki and McGregor would walk into any of the teams trying to get qualify threw the champions route.

Im all for giving a new manager a chance but Ronny has a lot of making up to do as this defeat is all on him!

There must be a player in there somewhere and if not then why did the manager go out and get him as they know each other and he is sure as * the managers choice.

I dont think sammy is the answer either there is just as much chance sammy could have had one of his (off games) and done * all.

Just a little part of me is worried ronny is bringing in players that were good enough for his last club but not for us.
    Maybe he has misjudged us.

Mate, I thought it was the right time for him to leave and I still don't think he suits Deila's style. I have no doubt in my mind, whether I get pelters for saying this or not, that we'd have won with Sammy last night. I know people will point to Sammy's bad games but that's because there are ways to play against him: even the best teams in Europe didn't dare leave him one on one versus their FB's like they did with Berget!

You replace Berget with Sammy last night with the way they set up and the first thing that happens is he wipes the floor with their FB. He's done it to far better defenders than that guy. Maybe we even get a goal from that in this period. The second thing that happens is that after 20 minutes they make sure they always at least double up against him. This means their RM is now unable to get forward and also, more importantly, would have a major impact on their ability to put pressure on Mulgrew and Johansen.

We'd have won. No doubt in my mind.

So would you think we have invested enough in the team this transfer window?

    There will be mate, sadly.

There are still some clueless fools who think that (fairly) criticising the team and the board is the same as saying "* brother walfrid, BJK, * the taigs".

We probably needed last night in all honesty, another lucky scraping through to the groups would have once more papered over the cracks - chasms infact - and gave the board and playesr an excuse for their terrible performances and of course gave us tonnes more money to squirrel away somewhere.

Now surely the board will realise we have to speculate to accumulate, and surely EVERY fan realises that something is seriously wrong at the club and it's not just a case of "oh cup upsets happen" or "oh boo hoo we don't have enough money to buy good players".

Why did the manager refuse to replace with subs the players who were having a really bad game.

    Absolutely not!

But the players we have a still a level above the team we are loseing to. Ronnys tactics is what cost us. Not the boards refusal to spend.

Once you call either players, our team or our club that shower of * , it's then time to ask yourself are you a Celtic supporter. Now and every other Celtic supporter , I would think , were angry with everyone connected with the Celtic Football clu , but how could fans who go to encourage their team could refer to the club as that shower of * .

He didn't refer to the club as "that shower of *"; he called the players that. Apart from Gordon, Virgil, Lustig and Kayal (who all played well) and McGregor and Commons (who did OKish), the bulk of the guys who played last night (Izzy, Berget, Mulgrew, Johansen, Stokes and especially Ambrose) were utter * (on the night). I don't think there's any denying that.

I think Ronnie has destroy the bit of attacking knowledge that he inherited . Instead of working on and improving their attacking ability, Deila with his inane desire of defending from the front has spent his whole time emphasising stopping opposing player playing their way out of defence . Our front men last season Stokes Commons- and Griffith didn't look nervous in front of goal . Ronney I think has sicken his players with the use of the word I and we know there is no I in team . I don't we should get rid of him , as if he learns he may become a good coach but I hope that he is told to stick to the day job first before promoting himself as the font of all knowledge in Scotlabd
