The worst part and the most insulting part to all you season ticket holders is that Peter Lawell or anyone on the board prob won't even apologise or try calm the fans or come out in the media with a plan or rallying call!
You the core of Celtic will be treated like * and expected to just rally along with this poor poor team!

But are we, our running costs have always been rather high.
I doubt for a minute the board are * the club out of money, there are to many people out there that would spot it and be all over it.

Im starting to think the club needs these big player sales and cl money to just keep us as we are and if thats the case we really are in the *.

Can we put the pitch forks down? Celtic released a statement saying they hope to sign two players before the deadline.

    What more do fans want?

The height of our ambition is to stagnate long enough so that we have competition with that lot...... that's * pathetic.

The sad thing is that'll actually be good enough for some fans, this whole obsession with that lot over 2 years after oldco have been liquidated is beyond * sad!

    Where is the thunder?

To tell the truth, I have never been in CP, however I'm a great fan. I saw the Bhoys playing outside the UK, but none in CP. Scotland is far from my home. This is my greatest dream, to be there with you, to take part of it.
There are some lucky people in the world who have chance to feel this great thing, to feel that paradise is really here.
I can't imagine how Ronny can enter those gates. I am outraged. This guy doesn't know the players, doesn't know what the Celtic spirit means.

Ronny, you don't deserve to feel it. You have no right to steal my dream. You don't have the right to steal the thunder from us. We gave it from Lennon.

Ronny, please call Louis van Gall, I'm sure he needs you in MU. :)

    About the money...
Glad to know that the board's standard of living is higher than ever. Let's sell our players, some will surely come - on loan. For a while.

Fans want players signed before we get knocked out of the Champions League to * Maribor. Too late for that now.

Agree with your conclusion and an example is Amido Balde. We buy him from Guimaraes 12 months ago and now when they want him back on loan, they can't afford his (now) salary.

I think we still gave a salary cap, however have been convinced for some time that our salary package means that our overseas signings receive a fair increase in what they were earning at previous Club. Given that very few of our squad is home grown, we therefore have to go out and buy, so have signing on fee, annual salary + bonuses etc, which increases costs.

The one way to reduce costs is to bring young guys through from Development Squad, just like Ajax. Out of current 23 man squad, 11 have come all way through from under 7's. They aim to bring 3 young lads through to the 1st Team squad every year to fill the gaps caused by those players leaving. Not only terrific testament to the way Ajax is run, it is superb example on how to keep your costs down and profits up when they move on to another Club. We are nowhere, nowhere near that. Instead we go out and pay not knowing how the players will fit into our system, which has immediate effect on our overheads, especially if they don't as we then go out and do same thing again.

If we continue on this path, we need CL and to sell Big to meet overheads.

Sorry but are you for real?

We just got the record of being the first team put out of the CL twice in one season and by complete dog * teams at that.

Could honestly care less about token loans and signings now, what's the point? our season is over almost before it has even started.

Lets face it...Europa league is a diddy competition and even at that we will get pumped because the complete lack of ambition by those people who are steering our once great club down a slippery slope.

Desmond put up or GTFO and Liewell too.

Oh thank the lord, 2 players. Who will no doubt be the same 2 players we have been trying to sign for the past week and a half anyway so nothing new there.

Why the * would we sack the board ?

we should put them in the team ... back four would be the obvious choice.. stingy * who don't give much away.. or maybe play a couple up front as they always hit the target (when it comes to financials).
