Totally agree - if someone wants to run on the pitch, they will. Alot of the stewards were trying to stop wee scott mcdonald running up the stairs and round the stadium.

MOst of the stewards + police just watch the game anyhow so it would not have been hard to get on the pitch

Also, i note that AC Milan are now changing their tune and are backing their goalkeeper who was violently struck according to a Milan representitive in a statement released today.

This is one the best bahaved clubs in the world, so to say U.E.F.A could dock points is * mad, if they do then it shows where thier loyalty lies. With the big superpowers, and to me that stinks a * as having celtic in the champions league can do nothing but help enhance the reputation of the CL for having great teams and passionate but fair supporters.:celt_2:

But a hope that wee * gets the highest punishment u get for breach of the peace.

Yes i think Quinns statement done us no favours as Lawell already had descussions with the milan ppl. I think it was his way of gettin one last big moment representing Celtic, and i for one did not appreciate it.

It's down to the fans to show that we have self control! not the Police or stewards. The fan knew what he done was wrong but got lost on the moment. Good to see he handed himself in. Lets hope this doesn't tarnish our good reputation. (Got to say it again, Dida your a joke).

The giuys is 100 percent to blame. Techbically he did assault Dida and he would have been prosecuted too if Dida had pressed charges. The club need to be seen to be totaly remorsefull i think attacking Dida in the press will go against us it may look like we're making excuses for this guys actions..

If you lay your hands on someone without their permission and they felt so inclined i think they could do u for assualt. Obviously most people would just shrug it off and they would have had to feel threatened before they complained i'd assume

Assault is often defined to include not only violence, but any physical contact with another person without their consent. In Common Law jurisdictions, including England and Wales

there is alo a bit saying provisions are made for something like tapping someone on the back but the guy had a slap (playfull) at Dida
