Could this even go ahead?! They have been knocked out and have dropped in to the Europa league. It is sad tbh. Accept the clerical error and don't make that mistake next time.

Tell them we're going on Holiday, just like they said they were when they played us in the tie.

Accept it and move on idiots. That "Open Letter" should be going straight down the toilet!

    Pure desperation.
They are trying to appeal to our sense of fair play - but this is a business decision and with £20m at stake, the response shouldn't take long to compose. GTF

Fs is there any chance at all that we will accept this?

Had a bit of sympathy for them at first but they can pretty much gtf now. They are really looking more and more like an * outfit(even if they did still pump us).

They apparently don't know how to handle the situation with suspended players, phoning up Celtic and sending letters to get us to talk to Uefa for them and now challenging us to an unoffical 'decider' match through an open letter?

Can they not just get on with preparing their appeal and do things even slightly professionally. Fair enough if their fans want to * and moan at us for going through but surely the people running the club must realise that it's Uefa they need to deal with after breaking their rules and they can't just say 'But Celtic said it's alright, they'll just let us go through.'

Yup, and ensure that they wouldn't be punished in respects of EBTs and that their transfer embargo (issued as a punishment) was gerrymandered enough that they could still sign players.

When do they even expect this to happen? there's 10 days to the playoff game and we've got 2 games in that time

Actually, it is probably something which we could and perhaps should report them to UEFA over.

Why would Celtic agree to a game they know they would lose? Makes no sense. As Millerntor said--it's just a PR stunt.

That's just the management though (they can't get over the lost money apparently). Legia players are * off but they are doing their jobs (won 5-0 against Łęczna yesterday) and are looking forward to conquering the EL. Your new hero Bartosz Bereszyński is even talking about Legia playing in the EL final in Warsaw next year. :56:

Among Legia fans, after the emotions cooled down, the consensus seems to be that we should accept the decision, fire the c*nts responsible for the f*ck up, do as good as possible in the EL and win the title again, so we get another shot at CL next year.

    End of the story.

No it doesn't. It looks like they're desperate *. * them. Run your club properly and you can have your shot next season.

Everyone in the footballing world will look at this and just laugh.

No club would risk 20 million on a game they don't have to play.

What is this obsession with honour, seems to keep making an appearance?

Wonder if they are going to try and take it out on the tartan army in a few months.

there is nothing about any one off match in this letter.. there is just a proposal: let´s talk, and sent a common statement to UEFA. Put ypurself in Warsaw´s situation, winning 6:1 on aggregate, than beeing kicked out coz of 3 min appearance, wouldn´t u do anything u can, or go public ?

It would probably be fair given the circumstances but I can't see it happening given the fact that our schedule is already clogged up and UEFA would never allow it.

I have absolutely no doubt in my head that if we played Legia tomorrow, we would win.

It's actually disgraceful behaviour. In the wake of accusing Celtic, fallaciously, of acting shamelessly as well.

They are really showing themselves up here, any sympathy amongst the wider public will rapidly be diminishing...
