I'd love to see how people spoke to each other in real life looking at the way some folk talk to each other on this forum

Oh dear....I hope your not going into "who's the bigger and better celtic fan". I take it I'm a "customer" even though I went to 90% of the games last year (as a season card holder) to watch absolue cannon fodder? I take it the Green Brigade are just "customers" too after seeing their life put in jeopardy and abandonig games due to Lawwell and his uncanny relations with the police? I take it everyone was just a "customer" when there were 10,000 at park head during the Kelly's era?

    What an awful post....really awful

Can we try and stay on topic and debate the OP and not have yet another who's to blame thread?

On that note no way should we be disclosing what our budget is. If we're interested in someone the selling club will name their price and we either haggle or move on if it's deemed not suitable.

If club X know our limit is eg £3 million sure as a * floats they will ask for that amount.

At least Lennon was not only a Celtic man but had played for the club for 6 years, had worked with the youth system and new what it was all about, this guy had as much clue about Celtic than we had of him,but the scary thing is,it seems that my grandson would beat him on Football Manager, nice guy but way in over his head.

Just seen the warning. Back on topic.

No I don't want the board or even Lawwell to be made of glass. If they really must be transparent then plexiglass would be better. Not wanting someone to get so mad after a defeat that they break the poor * then regret it when they calm down.

You are right. I think I do !!

My thoughts align with Clint Eastwood and Peter Lawell........

"A mans gotta know his limitations"

    My expectations are not great.

    Nevnor......be as chilled as me.

Set your achievement level as high as Lawell. That way you will not be disappointed.

    Chill.

The idea that we should announce our maximum limit for anyone player is simply the most ridiculous suggestion I have read for a long time . Announce that and agents will roll up to our door offering us every two legged footballer and have him valued at that money whether he had any ability or not . This is just crazy , Celtic didn't start the nonsense about Finabogsson and I think most people knew it was complete nonsense, just like what the MSSM media has done for the last 40 years and more to wind up the Celtic suckers who were stupid enough to heed them.

I logged on here pre-season prior to that result. I commented prior to that result and I logged on here simply because the forum popped in to conversation outside here where most of my Celtic chat happens.

Justifying seeing as yer trying to comprehend :50:

No I don't know ye, but I know what I've read so far. I'm sure yer no like they * tho. :shamrock:

Celtic fc...11 players on the pitch...beat the other team.
What else is there to know.
Do you think he will choose a different set up because he found out who our founder was or because someone told him how many scottish cups we have won.
You think managers at other clubs run around learning about the clubs past before deciding on what players to sign or play.
Only people that impresses and makes a difference to is the fans.
Give the guy some time for * sake.....new players crap before they play and now manager is crap after one loss.:87:

    This.

For the OP, no we shouldn't announce our transfer budget or max spend, as we would then be pushed as close to that figure for every one of our targets. I think a lot of the time we are linked with players who are worth £4-5m, but this will most likely be paper talk or agents spouting * to get that player noticed. Most of our transfers that actually happen are pretty low-key, both in spreading to the media and in fees.

Exactly i'm not going to anymore games or buying anymore kits or merchandise. I have to pay £100+ to get from Belfast to a game.
£55 for a shirt. Sorry Celtic i'll not be spending anymore money until I see a bit of ambition in the way of signings.
