Spot on. We actually looked quite cohesive when he came on. Every game this season our sole forward has been totally isolated. Doesn't help that they aren't the most mobile, this guy looked to be all over the place and has a presence about him.

He's not even a striker though so that just sums up our forwards when he can come on and instantly improve things up top.:smiley-laughing002:

I think he can be a good player here but who's place does he take?

We have plenty of players for the 3 behind the striker but not many good options for the one up front. Maybe he'll play as a striker.

I know that's true but I'm sure Ronny said he can play all over the front line and midfield. That could be what made him look so mobile and maybe that's the kind of front player that Ronny is looking for. Also as I said, seems to have a presence about him and was getting on the end of a few Boeriggter crosses which no one else seems to do atm.

He seems to be a true foward utility man. Which is strange because they usually operate from defence to midfield.

I thought it was amazing when we took off both Commons and Stokes who would be considered our 'goalscorers' and we instantly looked like a better team. The play was always breaking down with Stokes and Commons and when they get taken off and replaced with players who can keep the passing going, we looked like a much more fluid team and ended up scoring 2 more goals. Berget had a part to play in that and I thought he did well.

Tbf a lot of us have been saying Commons and Stokes could be a hindrance to our new style. They've both got quite a 1 dimensional approach to the way they play in all honesty. Berget seems much more of a natural pass and mover and takes up great positions.

Completely agree, Johansen was very poor with Bitton beside him and wasn't the player we've been used to since he arrived in January. Once Kayal came on he was back to his best as Kayal was closing down quickly, covering well and was much quicker at turning the play.

I wouldn't say that pukki or boeriggter have done well under deila. Pukki scored twice in a game against icelandic minnows and was decent in some friendlies but was absolutely anonymous against legia and derk hasn't played well at all aside from diving to win a penalty against st. johnstone.

Mightymcginn one true anti Celt . Nice for the SFA compliance officer to have confidence that people who claim to be Celts highlight alleged wrong -doings by Celtic players .

Celtic fans best in the world at being disloyal to their own team .

I honestly think this might be the most ironic post I have ever seen after you constantly disparaging and making up bullshit about tony watt. And for the record being a fan doesn't mean that you can't find fault with your own club or players I think even most of our fans would say that derk went to ground incredibly easily.
