    Get your drift, and I do agree it has been sweeter before, but as far as I,m concerned the huns didnt have any competition during their 9iar....especially with us in the turmoil we were in.

    Do you think they gave a * that they had no competition?

    Dont fall for the bullshit line that our titles are not of equal value to any other title won in the history of Scottish football my friend; leave that * to zombies. :50:

    Winning the league (no matter how many times) should not be the height of our ambitions in my opinion. This club deserves to compete in the latter stages of European tournaments.

    Europa League easily. Seems some people are buying into the Europa's a diddy cup pepetuated by the British media because the English teams don't take it seriously.

    Europa league just to experience another Seville with a positive result. I can understand why some would want the leagues for bragging purposes. However, 10IAR wouldn't even be a record as Rosenborg won 13 in a row.

    We have plenty of chances to win the Europa League (let's face it, we could probably get to a final with the current squad) but we will not have many better chances to win 10IAR.

    Getting to a Europa League final would be about as difficult to getting to a CL QF Id say. It's not easy at all.

    To me I wouldnt even see 10 in a row as half the achievement that winning a european competition
    Who would we beating to win 10 iar killie,newco and the diet huns not much of an achievement
    But with europa league you have to beat juventus, benfica, fiorentina, spurs and others teams of a similar calibre. Id love to see celtic be among the best once in my life and that defiantly wont happen with 10 IAR

    Europa league.

    I was old enough to remember watching our run to seville but wasn't old enough to go over and be amongst it. I'd jump at a chance to see it all in person this time. Plus in the way we got beat by diving * and could've won that game had we not had a uefa referee who bought it then we'd still be saying GIRUY to mourinho today.

    But considering we had a world class player in our ranks and a team of great players to have worn a hoops top, I can't see us replicating a team of that standard to do it again. Ronny would have to work some magic to manage it.

    Would we rather a CL last 16 or a proper crack at the Europa i.e resting our 1st team in the league and possibly making QF/SF?

    Without a doubt for me is a European Trophy.
    I was lucky enough to go to Seville & get into the game.
    Without doubt my best ever Celtic Supporting experience and I'd love to get there again but win it.

    To win the Europa League would be fantastic but to do so in handing the league title over to them would be a bit of a marred win somewhat.

    To lose the league is gutting, but to lose the Europa isn't as bad.

    We go year-in, year-out without winning a European trophy so it's not like we expect to win it anyway.

    Whereas fully cementing our place as the best and most dominant team in Scotland is our permanent and most pertinent priority.

    Who's to say we can't go beyond 10-in-a-row and create a record that no other team in Scotland could ever dream of beating?
