Here we go with the hysterical * again. Hartley was our best midfielder. FACT. McDonald was our best forward. FACT. The reason we lost today was down to individual errors. The system we play means our defence are always going to be suspect. The choice is do we want open attacking football or a return to last seasons tight but boring game. I for one prefer the attacking stuff. One or two things do concern me though. Strachan's blind spot as far as JVoH and McGeady are concerned. McDonald was our most effective forward yet gets the hook and Aiden continues to be inconsistent when we have a good option with Riordan on the bench. As for Naylor, well he needs a rest but who replaces him. O'Dea? Doumbe was the one bright spot today, let's hope he gets a decent run in the team.

 

Well it seemed a mighty big coincidence to me that when he was on he was causing them all sorts of problems and when he got subbed Hibs suddenly came back into the game.

And so what if he missed a couple of chances, Boruc let in two howlers, is he not Celtic class? The only player who's been consistently bad for us this season is Naylor

 

Did you even see the game? If you did then you would have noticed the countless amount of times McDonald could have played someone else through who was in a better goal scoring position but didnt.

He also cannot finish a * ball, the stats speak for themselves out of 15 goals hes scored 1.

As for the defence, why the * did strachan not drop naylor? WHY? doesnt he see hes * pish...

 

How many assists has McDonald got? He's been terrorising defences and I'm glad he's a bit greedy, none of our other strikers are

 

You can't go anywhere and give the home side a 3 goal start and expect to get anything from the game.

We were by far the better side and Hibs created 1 chance from open play, while we had numerous opportunities. Boruc had possibly his worst game in a Celtic shirt and Caldwell gifted the 2nd with a * weak header.

Our 3 best players for me were Doumbe, Hartley and McDonald. I was shocked when WGS replaced Skippy with Killen because JVoH was toiling badly. Individual errors were the difference today, without our own * ups we would have won the game easily.

 

One defeat against a no bad Hibs team. So what?

 

This week has been an absolute nightmare

* *. Some of youz are so negative. We played very well apart from Artur and Naylor. Our passing game is getting better each week. The result was just very very weird of Borat. We look like another 10% improvement would mean we would start taking teams apart. * just heard that Rangers are 2-0 up. Oh well its going to be a good fight this season.

Calm down lads.That was a good performance today.If Boruc hadn't * it up we'd be going away with a 2-1 win and no-one would be complaining.

 

we dont have a divine result to win every game. Its silly to complain when we get beat in a great game and then on another day complain that the SPL is crap and provides no competition. The SPL would be great if all the smaller teams had Hibs football ethos and the games were like this. I would prefer it if the other teams were closer to the Old Firm.

 

Wgs pretty much summed it up, honest mistakes cost us, probably the best we've played in Edinburgh under him and we still lost, unjust result, we'll get over it, Mon The Hoops

a good performance from whom?? athe performance is based on the team as a whole not a few,so if boruc,caldwell and jvh were poor and we lost the game how the * can it be a 'GOOD PERFORMANCE'???????????

 

Doumbe,Hartley,Brown,Donati,McGeady and JVOH all got pass marks IMO.

True sense. BOBO must return. Our defence is shaky. 2 full backs in the transfer window. McDonald and Riordan as the 2 strikers.
