Hun Songs

Probably nothing to do with me, but anybody know what is and what isn't allowed at Ipox these days, when they can muster up a song ?

We Are The People - pretty pathetic, but I'd guess that this would be OK

Follow Follow - well I suppose that would get the nod as well

Rule Britannia - ?

Derry's Walls - ?

The Sash - well this has got to be a no no

Just plain curiosity that's all.

 

All of their songs are acceptable because they show the club and their fans for what they are, bigoted fuds. Is a phrase that springs to mind, but that would be a lower limb reaction, cant say kneejerk in case I upset the saviour of scottish rugby and self governing sensibilities of the chlorobhobic "masses" (am I allowed to say masses when referring to a bunch of Rangers fans who turn up at the same time and place on a Sunday). Apparently its only the "add ons" that are "offensive".

Personally I dont give a * what they sing or how they dress it up, I know what they are and what they will always will be.

 

all of their songs are acceptable as it has already been proven they get away with it where ever they go. uefa has done * all and the spl wont touch them either.

so how bout a good ol' rendition of the Boys of the Old Brigade on Sunday?

 

if you watch show your colours celtic and rangers on espn a rangers fan get interveiwed in it he is in bridgeton somwhere he goes on to say he is not a bigot a celtic fan shouts across mone the hoops he then shout * * during the interveiw absolutly priceless

Well there is no way rule brittania will ever be banned seeing as it is the 2nd national anthem of Britain. I really dislike it but thats irrelevant.

 

the main ones that I understand are banned are billy boys and no pope of rome

Watching the game v Stuttgart the other night, 45,000 giving it big time Rule Brittania, just got the feeling they were trying to incite some sort of trouble with the Germans.

The question mark against it was really just that mate, a question as to whether UEFA, the heirachy at Ipox, the SFA saw any problem with them singing it. And from what I gather, it would seem all these organisations are happy that Rule Brittania is bona fide football song that encorouges the team.
