Well said mate. We are from a small country and a diddy league. Any win is a bonus. I'm sorry but that's the reality. People expect the world, and I appreciate that they pay money. But the bottom line is that no team from Scotland will make a dent in the Champions League in the near future with all the money and talent around just now. Its not fair to say this team is better than us for the amount of money they have spent during the transfer window, Strachan made the improvements we needed, and up to this point we have played world class football. We where seated above this team, and i believe we need to win these games. When we lose because the team facing us is a better team and we play well, i would'nt be angry. Celtic lost that game because, the came out flat and made to many mistakes, not because they where beat by a better team. Ukraine is bigger in size, but not population. I looked it up

 

Not really, in all reality last year was a fluke at best... and th chances of the same circumstances arising are very slim. Our big chance of qualification was the fact that we could possibly win both games against shaktar.

we should have gone into the game to defend, it was an away match against a team who were lets face it, class. we should have pld with just skippy up front and stuck another midfielder on maybe sno.

Going into a game just to defend is pure suicidal and can get you pumped by big scores. The balance has to be right. Defence in order midfield labouring away and attack clinical.
If we had gone into last night's game defending and looking for the draw we would have lost 5-0. Besides, playing defensive is not the Celtic way.
