I am 1 million percent, Boruc wouldn't either.

Gordon loves getting beat at this front post the diddy.

He epitomizes this Celtic team . Sulky , quiet , bereft of any confidence and constantly looks like he is on the verge of tears. He really is the sand in which our house has been built on .

Yeah not a fan. I think Van Dijk was the leader back there we lack now and with no one calling the shots, Gordon looks very shaky.

I don't have confidence that he'll make saves at all.

Boruc and Forster would routinely pull off excellent saves and that inspires the whole team.

Forget about trying to blame everyone else for his shortcomings.

Sticking Hummels and Thiago Silva in front of him isn't going to turn him into a world class goalkeeper. The mistakes he makes are down to himself, he simply hasn't been anywhere near good enough this Season and in all honesty the signs were there last Season as well with numerous high profile mistakes.

He flies well under the radar and appears to be fairly bulletproof when it comes to proper criticism. Which is baffling.

I agree with all of this. He's an average keeper. Plain and simple. Does he have * defense in front of him? Yeah, but it's his own mental mistakes that cost him far worse. We need to be exploring other options this summer.

He was pretty good last season tbf. He kept us in the Europa league (bar Inter Milan) and also did good domestically. This season, not much of the same

It was some shot but there's something telling me a really top keeper would have got something on it OR it could be that I'm on a rampage & everyone is getting slated. :47:

Should have saved the first in my opinion, and flapped at almost every cross into the box. McGinn hit one from about 35 yards in the second half as well, and he went down in installments saving it, and gave away a corner in the process.

That shot was clearly going wide as well but after Hayes goal his decision making was obviously screwed. That tells me he is lacking in the correct mentality. Someone said on here before that he runs like the tin man, well since then I've not been able to look at him without thinking that :smiley-laughing002:. Just looks clumsy and slow to react to me now.

    Said last night:

Beaten from 25yards at near post? Bad!
Unable/Unwilling to get off his line at the second? Schoolboy stuff.
At that stage the entire team fell back to 'rabbit in thr headlights' default settings...

He's been terrible this season. Most terrible is that we haven't replaced him at any stage. Don't know why he's so lax this year, but we've decent backups in Bailey and Fasan, we should be utilising them while Gordon's off-form

He's been poor, but not writing him off.

Funny how reading in the match thread, Hayes excellent striker was all Gordon's fault, but then people are giving Griffiths applause for the exact same goal, lol, his shot was nowhere near as good or even hard to stop than Hayes.

The partnership in front of him takes a lot of the credit or blame, and this year we dont have a settled one
