But Celtic as a club have been on the decline since Juventus. This included Lennon's tenure mind. Lennon is still the holy grail on here by all accounts and was never given the same sort of criticism. No OGLocs or Vengelos' who spent every post stating how Deila is some sort of monkey etc.

 

id sack all of them before the EK game, brown and commons could pick a team to beat them, and get the new management team in for the next league game

Same situation as in England, City need to treat Leicester as genuine contenders even though everybody believes they can't actually do it.

 

I'd blame that more on the fact we sold the spine of that team and never replaced them properly, barring Virgil who got sold quicker than he came in and got found out in Europe several times.

But the second paragraph is more down to the players than the manager imo even though Deila must still take a large share of the responsibility.

First of all, there's no point in making comparisons with Mowbary.

Secondly, nobody on here is representing the media and a large majority of fans want him gone.

Third, being in control of the game until you go a goal down is not good enough at any level. You cannot let your confidence and passion die because you're losing. The idea is to fight until you win.

Nothing to do with him being a 'Selik' man, this is nonsense. If we were progressing - not neccessarily winning every game, but really making improvements in our style of football or team chemistry or even individual performances then he would be getting support.

 

Saying it's a frenzy is just spin to make it look impulsive. Tonight's failure is just the tipping point for many, that confirmed doubts we already had over Deila's ability as Celtic manager. He's not good enough and neither are several of his signings.

I also have my doubts but my point is Deila is getting absolute dogs abuse. What irks me the most is that Aberdeen wanted it more than some of our players we have too many hiding in this team and that's when we need them to stand up and be counted, Armstrong McGregor Bitton all indecisive scared of taking charge and I'm not sure how you fix that really it's a total confidence issue you seen it after the red card on Sunday and after the first goal tonight.

 

He definitely has to go now, sooner rather than later, the players don't support him and the players in the majority are pish, for once can we please act from a position of strength and this is the last bit of strength we have, we should be miles clear and we aren't

I wish the fans had more power within the club, Lawell has been at the club for about a decade and the only things that's improved are his profile and his bank balance. That's not acceptable at any club
