I didnt expect a win tonight , this was a game we could have won but defending in the first half was *. Once again we will need to rely on our home games.

Where were we strong, and beating a Ukrainian side is no way harder than winning at AC. But thats my opinion!

 

I actually think that out of all our away games, Milan will be our best chance to get a result simply because they'll have qualified and will be worrying about the World Club Championship the following week.

No need to worry yet though, it's just typical Celtic away from home in the Champions League.

It does cause me some concern that, whilst WGS got it right by moving Hartley to where he was needed, where was the understanding of how Shaktar would play - they look to have caught us off guard.

Wait until the AC game away and no way will the play like Shaktar did, Celtic may get beat in the San Siro but we will find it a lot easier imo. The chances of Milan coming out all guns blazing at the start like Shaktar will be very unlikely.

I meant last season we have proved we were a strong team. Tonight not so much but after 20minutes we played well in patches and if we hadnt been caught cold at the start we may have got a draw, imo

the defending was *. it probably would've helped if we could've held onto the ball some. it seemed like everytime Celtic went down the field, they gave the ball away cheaply.
