..actually wanted to write something who's laughing now. But that wouldn't be fair. It was a hard fight after these 2 games, can't say which team deserves to be in the champs league. both gave their best, battled and fought until it was over. shame a penalty shootout had to decide between you and us. Penalty shootouts are always a lucky thing.

All I want to tell you now, fair play, you played well, you were a strong opponent. Hope you do well for the rest of your season.

But there's no fault-finding or dirging either. It was a good game.
These things happen.
The commentator on our TV, btw, was ecstatic about your support. Could well be that it was them in fact who delivered the clincher.

Spartak are technically better than us and have 2 or 3 incredible world class players that could have sunk us, especially the right winger who was sensational. He must be the best right winger in the world. The ebb and flow of the match was incredible and I thought we were sunk when it went to penaltys. It was an absolute classic of football how it should be played. Cheers for the great match Spartak. You gave the best performance any visiting team has done against Celtic in the champions league. Your style of football was superb at times. Good luck and hope you get to the UEFA final like we did a few years ago. Will support you if you do as long as we dont end up joining you later.

Great respect to you guys, thanks for a two great games. It is late in Russia and we are dissapointing to lose but you are the best fans i've ever seen.

Not many teams could bring over 60'000 to our games but we both managed it. Our teams put on some show two, I won't forget these games dispite the result.

That was a great game, two great teams giving it their all. It could have gone either way. Unlucky Spartak guys, I respect the fans who showed a bit of restraint and humility. To the arrogant Spartak fans, who predicted a walkover, get it roon ye!
