I'm quite surprised there's still some on here who think Samaras on lone forward role is the answer in Europe. If we're in CL next season and he's still here I hope we take a whole new approach with the likes of Biton and Johansen brought in.

I'd really rather have Kayal in there than Mulgrew but I suppose his current form doesn't justify it. I just have a soft spot for him though, he impressed me so much in his first season here. I'd love to see that Kayal back again.

yes stokes can score goals but he can score goals when he gets good service to score goals. all his goals on sunday were set up nicely for him he doesnt have what it takes to run at a defender which will be what is needed on the counter attack against the big teams

If we sold Ambrose and replaced him with a more reliable defensive CB I'd be ecstatic with our defense. The midfield is a bit meh. I like Biton but we kind of lack real creative attacking players. Maybe Boerrigter will step up next year. And I always get slated for this, but Brown shouldn't be an automatic choice and the same goes for Mulgrew.

As for our strikers, I have no confidence in them to get goals in Europe.
