Yeah - the decision on the constituency question was taken, as only very few parties contested the constituency ballot in the last election - in Glasgow there was only one that had another party contesting the ballot other than the main four (Communists consenting Anniesland). I felt that if I had put another option, people may have accidentally attempted to vote for a party that wouldn't be running in that ballot.

I would have liked to have had the "other" option being a type box, but the website I used forces you to upgrade your account to do this (and I really don't want to spend £19.99p/m to do this).

In regards to the don't know/wouldn't vote - this was done to reduce the amount of options and to keep the analysing on the data simple for me.

But thanks for the feedback. :50:

I'll get a full PDF up at some point (hopefully by the end of the week)

Can folks outside of the UK take the survey?

    I can't stop you. :50:

It thinks I live in the USA, despite the fact I don't. (Don't quite understand why...). I wouldn't be able to tell - so go ahead. :)

    **************

I've had over 300 responses so far from four forums (this one, Tartan Army one, Hibs one and an Aberdeen one) - and 84.9% are saying yes to independence

Of course this shouldn't be taken as an actual opinion poll - as if I asked 300 business execs these questions, then I'd expect I'd get very different answers.

I'm also working out some weighting system based on the 2011 election regional votes. This would give a slightly more accurate view of the picture (mainly because the Greens and the Socialists have picked up nearly 30% of the regional vote in this survey, but only 5% in the 2011 election).

Using the above, support for independence among the forums currently drops to 68.3%.
