Obviously as how do they know when saying it how it will be taken?

To you as an outsider one might be seen as worse than the other but to other people you cant possibly know. For all I am to know she could have been bullied her whole life about being skinny and someone calling her a skinny cow would make her feel terrible and if she is chinese, she might not regard being called a chinky as offensive.

Its worse because you are bringing so much more into the argument.

Slagging their heritage, culture, ancestors, family, beliefs, skin colour, physical features they can't change. Then you bring up hardships that their race may have had to deal with in the past that caused mass tradegy or death.

Being fat never got thousands of people killed. Its no secret why you can get the jail for racial abuse and not dpfor calling someone chubby.

Saying * off ya black * away back to Africa, to a group of black people or saying * off ya fat * away back to McDonalds to a group of fat people to me is the same. Because when saying it you don't know how they feel.

The history may not be relevant to the person saying it, to say it is, is you applying your standards on them. Someone saying a racist name to a black person, may have no problem with black people, would never dream of treating them any different to anyone else and had nothing to do with the past when people had slaves and that.

 

The guy's an * but it's mainly down to being thick not real badness I think! Need all the help we can get with cl qualifiers just round the corner so I'd personally give him a chance, club knew what they were getting in to when they signed him so can't see him getting punted!

Also 99 percent of people seemed to forget about his racist tweet and get behind him once he put in a couple of decent performances and apart from the obvious fact he wasn't a Celtic employee at the time, that to me was a much worse offence than singing a daft song to fit in with old mates!
