    I drove 6 1/2 hours to watch the game by myself. My seat was next to a bunch of America guys there with their wives and their beers and I felt a bit lonely. So I got up and walked over to where I saw most of the travelling Celtic support sitting. Anyway, that is what I was greeted with. We ended up losing that game. Some French guy scored the goal. Sebastian I think his name was. The only reason I remember that is in front of me, in the seat I was originally supposed to be sitting in, there were two French scouts there, just to see him play. It was really weird. I never encountered that kind of treatment again, especially not while I was in Glasgow. I got the feeling that he just didn't like Americans.

    Sorry mate, but that sounds like * to me. I've never met a Celtic fan who would react like that, especially considering the worldwide support we get.

    In fact, in my experience non-Scottish or Irish fans usually get a great reception!

    As loathe as I am to agree with Cadete, I've had some on this forum say similar things. The vast majority are curious but there are small amounts who feel the need to be exclusive about it. It's not unique to Celtic though.
