ok watched it again. and have to say it was close, but he was just offside.
you see were mcmanus is , hes standing right on the line on the pitch (were the diffrent shades of grass are) the spartak guy is just beyond the line. only untill the cross is fired, mcmanus flys forword trying to block the ball does he moscow lad look onside.

i cant seem to get a screenshot unfortunatly. though i can honestly see why moscow think hes onside, but its only when mcmanus lifts his leg to block the ball.

his leg was not on the park there for--- goal, offside.

look up the handball rules.

brown and naylor didn't make them selfs any wider when the ball hit there hands. there hands were in tight against there bodies. there fore- no handball.

as for the offside, if you take that MASSIVE blue line out the way, replace it with a nice fine line you'll notice hes offside.
mcmanus's LIFTED leg makes it look like hes onside , but the leg is in the air!!!
