    If we lose these 2 and sign Griffiths, we might as well sign Boyd and Lasley while we're at it. Make it the most disgustingly horrible transfer window in history, and thus every transfer window afterwards will seem amazing.

    I am longing for the transfer window in 2003 when we ended up signing Michael Gray on a three month loan.

    If player didn't want to go in the summer, we could not have made him go .
    We wouldn't get your nice profit . On the other hand anything we get
    for Ledley will be some type of profit . Maybe I am wrong but I thought we
    were trying to strengthen the squad last summer, having already lost
    three key players and at that time we were hoping to repeat last season's
    success in the Champions League .

    If a player chooses to run down his contract (which he is entitled to) then that's his decision. Not Celtic's. Why people seems so keen to pin all the blame on the club is beyond me but there you go.

    Imo it shows there are no real feeling for the club. Again, this is fine. We don't always have to proffer our love for our place of work.

    It's like "Naisy and Greegsy." Declare their undying love for the club all their days...but when it comes down to it money talks and they just * off.

    (I'm illustrating a point, not comparing Joe to those * bolt-necks.)

    We can all play the pretend game but, a few people at the club apart, we are "work" to the players and this will become apparent more so than ever around transfer windows.

    He'll be well remembered to a point. Played well for us, "7/10 player every game" yadda yadda and all that bullshit.
