Total mince again, can't believe how powder puff he is, he's terrible in the tackle.

What I'll say is he is definitely better than what he is showing just now, but some folk on here rate him way way too highly.

But his tackling has always been poor. It's never been anything else. Same goes for his judgement,eg in last minute of extra time when he was running cross field. All he had to do was take it out to side, but he stops and tries to do the fancy stuff, loses the ball and puts pressure back on us. His strength is his energy, but on too many occasions his losing the ball puts us under pressure. His energy covers his mistakes.

Very poor. He's a worry just now, he peculiarly looks like he's trying to emulate Brown by being an 'enforcer' when his game has so much more to it.

The amount of silly yellows he picks up is ridiculous. Usually for barging people in the back, tonight it's for blocking the ball being played from the keeper. It's just stupid. Over committed himself far too often as well, and sold himself. To top it off, he was wasteful with the ball. He needs dropped, it's that simple. Might give him a much needed kick up the *.

As one of his biggest supporters, I have to admit he is off the boil at the moment. Still think he'll come good again though as he's a fantastic player.

I agree. What he needs now is a well aimed toe up the hole but.

Loses the ball constantly, gives away daft fouls and is literally not deserving of a first team spot just now..

    Thought he was abysmal..

Doesn't look the same player as last season. His head seems to go down a lot easier if things aren't going his way, whereas last season he worked his socks off to make things happen for himself.

Bench him and stick Commons in there for now with an aim to trying Allan, Peace be Upon Him, and Armstrong in there.

Agree he should be dropped/rested for a few games, his form has been stinking of late.
We've got plenty of cover in that area with Commons, Armstrong, Rogic and Allan.
It seems like Deila is hoping he'll play through the bad form and come good.
He is a game changer when on form so we need him back to top form.

I think he's got to be dropped. I've watched the game again and he was even worse than I thought. He offered absolutely nothing when he had the ball. Worked pretty hard but that's just not enough at this level, he was cancelling out all his hard work by the sheer amount of times he lost the ball.

When fit I think our current midfield should look like this:

    Brown Bitton
    Forrest Commons Armstrong

I'm not his biggest fan, yeah he runs, however as said gives away so many stupid fouls and some very slack passing, yet he can make some good passes too.

Last night near the end he was running up the park and decided to cut back and lost the ball putting us in more trouble.

There is no way he's a better option than Commons, sorry no chance.
