    Bullshit. He played a few fantastic games in 2012 but his CL form in 2013 was average to non-existent in most games. He started this season brightly but has gone back to his half arsed worst. If he was gonna be bothered to play i would keep him but he's a lazy * and doesnt deserve the wage he's on. Punt him unless he signs a reasonable deal.

    i think we need to punt him though, hes well recouped his 3m transfer and been a great servent but its time to move on, hate seeing our players leave for free

    To be fair I did acknowledge that fact in my original post. I don't see the point in giving him a new deal on the back of him performing well in a game that was 6 months ago, albeit a very important game however I don't think that can defend him when he has done nothing since then.

    His experience would come in handy for next years qualifiers however as I previously said I will not be devastated to see him leave. I'm beginning to see alot more of the 'old' Samaras than I would like to tbh.

    All of our CL runs, one last 16 since he has been here, not exactly CL runs.

    He did well in last seasons group stage and that is it, he has failed to make any major impact apart from that in 7 years.

    He has done well in odd flashes but the team does not miss him and we play better football without him.

    if sammy doesnt leave tonite,then the club should withdraw the offer on the table and tell him hes free to go in the summer as we dont want you.he does not deserve a new deal,his performences this season have been shocking his time is up

    whats the point in that if he stays then we should be looking to get him signed up even if its to just sell in the summer remember he is off to the World Cup in the summer if he plays well he could be in demand
