A new manager would have to deal with the same constraints NL, in my opinion and at this current time, there is no better suited manager for this role.

The Celtic job is dictated by finances and the purse strings, Neil has to recognise that knee * signings and the overall loss of talent last year has stung us.

I think Neil is the best man available for the job right and know that the will address the weaknesses. He will still be there when the new huns emerge from the depths of * and he will be motivated to maintain a winning squad that hunskelps.

My only wish is that he is more ruthless with his players. For example, Scott Brown, for all his willingness to win he consistently makes bad-tempered-decisions every year that are costly, he should be on his final warning. Pukki, needs to be told to wipe his hard done by look and stand up to be counted or the door is over there.

Talk of appointing Chris Sutton is absolutely crazy! You can't just appoint ex players with no experience and expect it to go well. We'd be right back where we were at the start of Lenny's learning curve.

Lennon's gone down a lot in my estimation recently due to his Green Brigade chat mostly. I could add to that his ridiculous calendar, which shows too much ego and is a bad example for the players.

He's improved a lot as a manager over the time he's been in charge, but he will need to improve the same amount again if we are going to establish ourselves in the Champions League.

If Lennon moved on I'd have no hesitation in welcoming in Henrik Larsson as manager.

If Lenny were to move on I would want Marcelo Bielsa. Failing that, and partly contradicting my last post, Jackie McNamara.

Marcelo Bielsa is a great manager but we will probably end up with Owen Coyle :54:

I loved Coyle as a player and I thought when he was at Burnley he would go far - seemed to have a good young team playing good football. I thought he'd do well at Wigan too tbh, but it obviously went * up fairly quickly.

Felix Magath. There where rumors here in Croatia that he was in talks with Dinamo Zagreb but its seems that they haven't made an agreement.Which makes me think we could afford him,at least he could shake up this team a little bit with his training methods.

Disgrace of a thread. Taking Neil Lennon for granted. You will miss him when he moves on. Some people don't know when they have a good thing.

There have been far better managers of Celtic than him questioned on when it's time to go,do you think he wants to be at Celtic for his full managerial career it's a 2 way street,no one at Celtic is above criticism that includes Neil Lennon

Even with my avatar and my several wanks over him chipping Klos, I would seriously, seriously hesitate at Larsson even being a candidate for replacing Lennon when he eventually goes. His managerial CV shows absolutely nothing in that regard, unless you think Larsson's legendary status is the only requirement for the position of Celtic Football Club manager.

See Ally McCoist at Rangers. I would hate to see our fans turn against Larsson. It would turn my stomach.

I want to see us get a european manager next if lenny does indeed leave sometime in the future. Someone like pochettino at southampton. Lets bring in someone doing really well at a small/medium size club in europe.

Someone used to working with relatively small budgets and with proven tactical nous because lenny is devoid of tactical awareness.

    This,definitely this:50:

I always liked Ian Holloway, aside he is a funny guy I am always under impression when I see old games of Blackpool playing. They where * defensively and they had small bench, smallest budget by a mile in whole premiership yet they had guts to play attacking, atractive football agains everyone in league and yet they were out just in the last match of the season.Charlie Adam was like Xavi for them in that season.
