At one time, I could've seen him as a pretty good Celtic manager. I wanted him as our manager for awhile, in fact.

I can't stand the guy, but the most over-rated? I think he's over-rated, indeed, but I dunno if he's the worst of the lot. It looks he'll be back in the EPL next season with QPR, so ...

All he's won is one FA cup and all of England want him as the National coach! People down there give off the impression he could easily manage a team in the top 6 of their league.. he really isn't worthy of that at all.

Roberto Mancini is a bit * as well in my opinion.

  10. Allardyce, Calderwood, Gus McPherson,Roy Keane(could probably be a good coach, has a good understanding of the game but his persona and attitude would be a big hindrance),Barnes, Levein, Billy Brown and Jefferies. Plus any other manager who fails to adapt to changes in football.

    Questionable that is.

Martin O' Neil and Arsene Wenger fall in to that category, for very different reasons. Yet, I would not say they are useless managers.

Are you * me? He's most definitely proved himself over the long run. Managers who've been given an open chequebook are nearly always the over rated ones. Calderwood and Redknapp are obvious starts. I would have mention Walter, but he proved himself when took on the Scotland job.

Did he not get Aberdeen to the knockout stages of Uefa Cup? something only Ferguson had done before him?

Nope. Relegation fodder manager, sacked and leaving under a cloud - repeatedly. Has done nothing special either.

If you have one of the lowest budgets in the league, then the likelihood is you're team will get relegated. "Relegation fodder manager" doesn't have much substance it.

Michael Laudrup and Swansea done well last season on a pittance, Martinez done well (despite Wigan being relegated in his last season - in style though). Moyes did well year after year, with little to spend.

Majority of managers down south are "pointless". It is just a merry go round down their with manager jobs. Get sacked from one, walk straight into another. About 90% of managers down south are vastly overrated for me.

  20. Steve Bruce, Mark Hughes, Chris Coleman and Sam Allerdyce I would say are the 4 worst at Premiership level, always seem to get decent jobs but havent done anything.

Sam Allerdyce did get Bolton up a few Leagues and stabilise them in the Premiership which was great but he's never managed to break into the top half of the League in however many years hes been there. He's just a manager who scrapes about the bottom of the Premiership now.
