Much better to hear from the greats of the game than a mediocre pundit comparing Lennon to his criminal dad

 

Redknapp is one of the best pundits around. Seems a top bloke too.

 

I actually think he is one of the better pundits out there. I have taken a liken to Jamie Redknapp in all honesty. It's very refreshing to hear any pundit talk up the Scottish game for a change, so for an English pundit to do so, even though our own constantly make a mockery of it, I have a lot of respect for him for that.

What's wrong with people giving Celtic positive recognition?

 

At it again as he's talked us up a number of times as has his dad..


It was more a wind up as everyone seems to be doing it at the minute and some posters think it's cringey..

I like Janie redknapp..

 

I think he seems a nice guy, and love the good press.

Don't think he's particularly learned as a pundit, but I wouldn't switch him off or anything. Prefer the journalist pundits BT Sport get's on its football shows over the Sky's former players.

 

Whether people like him or not, he's in a position where he is now a respected pundit in many ways and his views are heard by many.

Yeah he's probably just behind Gary Neville as sky's main football pundit..
It's always good when guys like this talk about celtic in a positive way especially when we have so many of our own pundits/ex players who can't or won't in the same light..

The reason I like redknapp is in his interviews and stuff he talks about celtic and doesn't mention the manager going or other stuff that undermines the positive he's saying about us..
A guy who has obviously been taken in by the big game experience

 

Just when you are talking about him not undermining us, I remember last year, after the Barca game I think it was, he said that Wanyama is a £20million player. I think he was actually maybe having a little dig at the inflated prices down South when he said that.
