Managed to get platinum tickets for the Saturday night.

Not too much of a fan myself, but the wee fella was desperate to go.

i should be close enough to take that * Clarkson out.

I'm looking forward to the cars, not a huge fan of the show, though.

Was over £200 including the booking fee, it is part of his birthday/chistmas, though.

I might not even go if he'd rather go with one of the wee gobshites he hangs about with :smiley-laughing002:

I was posed the question in the pub the other night - Clarkson, May and Hammond are in your sights, but you've only got one bullet. Who gets it? I said Clarkson because without him the other two would shrivel and turn to dust like at the end of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

(Or maybe more like Raiders of the Lost Ark on reflection, when the Nazis melt at the end).

P.S apologies for anyone reading this who has not seen Raiders of the Lost Ark, and has now had the ending spoiled.

I watched the Top Gear episode racing from London to Glasgow in 1948 transport (train, bike and car).

Thought the bike would have won.

Clarkson ended up on stream train, and came out looking like a coal man.:smiley-laughing002:

Haven't watched Top Gear for years- hate the way it's all scripted and fake. Not really into cars either. Also Can't stand any of the presenters. This show definitely isn't for me then :smiley-laughing002:

Yeah, I really don't get the attraction of wanting to pay a small fortune to watch 3 millionaires drive about in cars I'll never even get a sniff of. At least the TV show is free (sort of).
