    We (going by attendances) are one of Europe's biggest clubs, meaning if all is right we should be in contention with a European Super League spot. Obviously there might be squads with more quality than ours throughout Europe so I don't know how they are defining 'biggest'. I doubt such a thing would happen and I don't really think it needs to, but if we was to be included in this 20 teamed super league that surely would only benefit us?

    Yes please, it would be awesome. No idea how it would the current leagues & cups would function alongside it though... without us? Hmm...

    I really don't want this to happen. I really dislike the idea of a closed competition for 20 top teams. At least with the Champions League every country and every team can technically make it (even if the chances are tiny). I don't want it to be like American "franchises" league system where places are allocated on business potential instead of sporting reasons.

    This would be the death of football as we know it. The big teams would control everything and would stop teams like Red Star Belgrade, Steaua București, Nottingham Forest, Club Brugge, Malmö and us ever getting a chance of being in finals of Europe's greatest tournament again. That would be a crying shame.

    Load a * will never work, whether its Fifa or not you always need someone to run an organisation who would run this superleague thats full of powerhungry football clubs, it would be a failure and considering fans are not going to go abroad every 2 weeks season after season

    he did not expect clubs to break away from their domestic leagues but to have squads of 40 or 50 players, some of whom would play domestic league matches and others European games. :eek2:
