So Hart is being dropped for the Norwich game at the weekend?

England play Chile two weeks tonight, Forster MUST play. Lets see if Hodgson has a pair of balls. There is no way he can start a keeper who has been dropped by his club.

Rubbish and overrated keeper, if he wasn't English he'd struggle to get playing for a premier league team.

If the English tabloids are to be believed, sources close to Hodgson have said that Forster will start against Chile but Hart will be back in for the Germany game.

Here is one link but a few papers down there this week were saying the same thing.

Reports have been that Forster will start V Chile for a few weeks now. I know we sometimes like to nitpick the weaknesses of Fraser, particularly in his early days, but watching Hart he just seems to have much more downside to his game that Forster. Very much one of those PL keepers that makes saves that he could reach and grab intentionally more flash for the benefit of the cameras.

If Forster impresses against Chile, he should be kept in for the Germany game.

Bet Hodgson still picks and plays him for England, England imo are scared to try new keepers even in friendies

I'm struggling to think of a world class English keeper since Shilton. Whereas we've had Leighton, Goram, Gordon and *.

None of them were world class either.

They'd never have got a game for any the best teams in Europe. One played nearly his whole career with Aberdeen, one played for Hibs and the Dead and was mostly Scotland number 2 and the other two played for the Dead, Dunfermline, Besiktas and Hull City and Hearts and Sunderland. Not the careers of world class keepers.

I was thinking this. He made one good save but everything he did the commentators were going well over the top. The first Mertesacker header was straight at him, but it was a GREAT save..... supposedly!!

He got man of the match for England in the papers. 8/10 :smiley-laughing002:

I'm unsure what to think of Hart, I mean yeah, he's overrated(great keeper on his day though) and he is probably undeserving of his current status as england number one. Granted those aspects aren't Harts fault, but something about the guy bugs me. On the other hand it seems our very own Fraser Forster can't speak highly enough of the guy.

    Maybe they're mates.

I agree he's a very good keeper. Was a big part of city winning the league two years ago and was great and Birmingham. Don't know what's up with him just now, just got * all of a sudden.
