I'd go Forster in nets, with a back four of Lustig (RB), Virgil and Ambrose at centre half, and Matthews at left back (he played excellently at LB vs Barca last season). A central midfield three of Brown, Kayal and Mulgrew. Samaras on the left wing, Commons on the right wing but in more of a free role, allowed to drift centrally. Stokes up front alone.

 

woke up today with a really good feeling about tonight 1-0? can we stop barca from scoring with our shakey defence...sammy to score anytime for me

You've got to just love all the match build up nerves, excitement, passion, spring in your step, smile on your face as you remind the scum what you'll be doing tonight, bursts of adrenalin and the anticipation of seeing us hopefully grab another scalp.

For days I've been convinced I'm going to see Amido Balde's name on the teamsheet tonight. No idea why.

 

I said it on another thread, but out of all the striking options we have, Balde would be the best suited for us tonight in my opinion.

In no way do I think he will start, or deserves to start, but his physique and style of play, make him the best choice for this game I feel.

 

Has someone a link to the full press conference?

 

They get asked leading questions by our press IMO.
