Nah, I can't explain it. It sounds glaswegian to everyone else in Scotland and everywhere else. Just other glaswegians thinks it sounds more posh. A lot of times you can get grief for it but tbf there is quite a few arseholes from Mearns. Mearns is only like 10 mins from Glasgow. Basically a part of it.

Your accent can't be worse than an Aberdonian one at least :50:

Is an Aberdeen accent just like a fife one? Do they use all that "eh" * at the end of every sentence?

    So, so posh!

They're bizarre. "Fit like min" instead of "how are you". Different to Fife...still use 'ken' a lot. I genuinely find it difficult to decipher what my grandpa is saying.

    * all wrong with necking your booze and wanting to forget your night plenty of people are not arseholes when like this... I think there's a lot of snobs on here in all honesty we have all been the * at least once on the booze don't deny it !

I don't mind being In a club I'm no the type to let a spilled drink ruin
My night or seeing a guy or a lassie leg less as long as they mind there own buisness and don't act like a * then I'm fine with that sometimes it's amusing

In fairness no wonder your bored of clubbing if that's where you've been heading, pathetic places the lot of them.

Best for me are Sub Club and The Glue Factory. Although the people going to subby are getting more annoying, too many folk not on the all-loving disco diet.

Soundhaus was brilliant. Best night out in Glasgow I've had was their final night. Gutted it's closed.

Overall though clubs here are pish, prefer a mix of both worlds myself. Somewhere with a decent sound system but a bar as well. If I'm out in town I'll usually head to Stereo,Firewater, Flat 0/1 or Pivo's.

I don't head to any of them Vicky's was back in the day when you went to dimensional every Friday ! But the places you name are full of the I'm indie types and think they are cool with there holy converses and * hairdoos

The town in general is pish! I probably make the odd appearance now and again I'd rather get with my mates go to a boozer and get full of it than hit the town even sometimes a house party is a better option or a bit of both!

Haha. I lived in Paisley all my life and my parents moved to the Mearns and I had to move with them. I hated it. Moved back to Paisley now that I bought my own flat. Rather stay in Paisley where the folk are normal. One of my wee sisters is only 11 and in St Ninians, I slag her often for having a Mearns accent.

Forgot to post this before, but the only club I enjoy in Glasgow is The Buff Club if anyones been there. It's usually a good night. Sometimes hit or miss if its busy or not, been in a few times and its been dead but when you get a good night in there its minted. Cant mind the night during the week it was good, is it a Tuesday maybe for Killer Kitsch night? Thats always good.

I am not a fan of going to nightclubs or pubs but bars are decent for a few drinks. I'l only go to a club if i am hammered as they are usually full of TOWIE like posers or neds

Aye, nightlife in Paisley is shocking. It's ashame because its deteriorated so much. My mum and dad talk about it being mental for a night out 20 or so years ago. When there used to be heaps of clubs and stuff. It's even went right downhill in the past 5 or 6 years. I'm only 23 but can remember going out back when I was 16/17 and it was miles busier than it is now.

Now theres only 2 nightclubs, ones filled with scheme junkies and the others filled with underagers and students.

The only 2 decent pubs are Paddys and The Bull Inn, the rest are terrible.
